Forum Specialist MIA?
I suppose it is completely unthinkable that he/she/it simply resigned after the raging against him/her/it when the selected FS were announced?
Or maybe he/she/it is simply ill and haven’t been able to do it.
There are many possible reasons, and yet you go with one of the most unlikely one.

Is there even a reason the WvW forums even exist right now, other than to be the proverbial trashbin/outlet for people wanting to give feedback? Anet, why u do dis to WubVeWub
From what I’ve been able to tell from past posters, these forum are a ground in which mods can infract delete and ban those who dont see anet’s vision, thereby making the forums a bias area where new players can never find out what is really going on in WvW.
I also think they are here because they have to have a section, cant have a game mode and then not have a forum section for it.
Also they’ve also been apparently been waiting for anet to give them a template on how to make future reports. If you ask me it’s kindda stupid setting up this program and assigning people, but then not even having bothered to plan how these people are supposed to work. Oh wait, that actually does sound like WvW..

There are many possible reasons, and yet you go with one of the most unlikely one.
Except his last post was 8 days ago and his promised weekly update post was 22 days ago. If he’s sick he must be dying, in which case maybe he should be switched out.
And if he resigned then why not get someone up for the task then? Come on dawg, admit that Anet just wanted to troll/poop on WvW players who want to improve the game mode.
The fact that his last post was 8 days ago actually supports the idea that he have resigned/given up/left/got sick.
We have no idea how many PMs and such he have gotten attacking him.
Time will tell.

No, they ban people for being rude and insulting, when they do not agree with the vision. There is a difference between someone disagreeing, and someone being toxic about the disagreement.
What ever happened to Weekly Reports to Anet on the issues WvW is having?
What happened to the promise Report on Siege Trolling that was due 3 weeks ago?
Did Anet even get the report posted by our dear WvW Forum Specialist?

Maybe some work emergencies occurred
Maybe his kids got the measles.
So on and so forth.
They are regular players volunteering their time. The do not owe you anything, yet they are trying to help. Everyone questions everything they do, and applies a negative undertone to it all, then ask questions of them, with assumed expectations.

Yes, he did. He promised a weekly collection on the problems in WvW. Check his first post. 22 Days ago he posted his big spiel on collection info and reporting it to Anet, and inside he posted the next week would be siege troll discussion.

Regulars volunteering their time? 1 Day 22 days ago was the last post of any feedback taken. They don’t owe us anything like Anet doesn’t “owe” us anything. Don’t promise/commit/volunteer if you can’t produce. Otherwise you open the floodgates for anytime to be “He dun promise you nuthin” “He’s just volunteering”. Those arent excuses for not showing up.
The negative undertones come from 2 years “we’ll look into it” and then silence. Absolute silence, little to no Dev presence on this forum to answer even basic questions. So yes, WvW players have a reason to be cynical.

The second biggest cause of infraction points is given to people questioning the moderators and why they were given infraction points. I will get an infraction point for making this post because it is against the rules to discuss the giving of infraction points and forum moderation, or to question the moderators.
The third biggest cause of infraction points are people trolling other servers and each other… but the majority of infraction points are for questioning the lack of wvw support and questioning the moderators for deleting posts about our concerns.

I do not believe that for a second. I have seen how folks “ask” things here. They either do so rudely, violate policy be naming suspects (not proven violators).

Where is your link to the metrics for your claims? You state them matter of factly. Unless you have proof of this, you are very literally making uninformed claims and disingenuously misrepresenting them.
