Like the title say.
I think the new dungeon farmable for thousands levels had literally broke the WvW in Worlds like Whiteside Ridge where a big part of population is PvE docused and do WvW for fun.

Ascended Gear is not earned in WVW in any way ..so Why ppl have to stay there? Is better to farm the new gear on Fractals to be more competitive.

Ok maybe febraury will bring some love for the WvW, but we have 3 months first of it. We are sure for that date there will be still someone roaming in WvW?

Im worried about it. Seems Anet has changed his mind about vertical progression.

What do you think about?

good i dont want player playing World vs World to farm better gear i want player there that want to fight, attack, defend Supplycamps, Towers and Keeps.

With your thinking all Worlds who have not received the Blacktide and Seafarer bandwagon or dont have a WvW only core population strong enough are all doomed.

I think this a bit nosense reply.

Some ppl do PvE and WvW, while WvW atm have no progress, PvE continue to receive new stuff so these mixed players are encoraged to do PvE.
This doesnt mean they wan to farm new gear and are all noobs. ATM ascended is a better gear that give you small advantages, all hardcore player will going to farm this for having that 5+ stat point is just natural.
My questions is about why Anet seems to have changed his mind about the WvW management and the vertical progression they have contested to WoW?

i dont fully agree. My guild is one of the core wvw guilds on dzag but i rarely see them running fractales. Iam top there being able to join lvl 7 ^^.

I don’t want no kitten agony on me when I’m charging in a 5-1 odds or even worse.

I’m from Whiteside as well and we were consecutively moved up in the ranking tiers twice in a row and now we are about to drop twice in a row to the bottom tier. I wosh there was a real explanation for this.

I switch out my Ascended ring for my Exotic ring while in WvW. I run with a few hardcore WvWers, though not one myself, and they have absolutely zero interest in Fractals, or the Ascended ring/backbrace.

At the moment, it is not a problem. Anet will be putting Ascended thoughout the whole game soon enough.

And your vertical progression point is just there to get people excited. Anet has very blatantly said that there will be no more tiers added. Ascended is there to fill the gap between Exotics and Legendary, and was intended before launch.

They told they will not add new tiers every 3 months. Is a bit different.
And when ppl will complain about they are full PvE geared and have not nothing to farming a new tier will be added. Remember what i say.
