Anet, I can honestly this is beyond stupid… I am from server: Blackgate we were in the top 10 maybe even 5… but now with all the flood of server xfers to blackgate… we have nothing do to…

Right now we are fighting HoD & ET – and within 10 hours we owned the entire map… this isn’t balance this is who ever is on a winning streak the band-wagon xfers move there and keep on going.

Please stop server xfers to high populated servers. try something like this(Do not allow server transfers to High Pop servers only med and low pop only) and yes I am already thinking about stop playing this game cause we have nothing to do period. yay we can field 30-40 guild members and stand around in queue or spawn camp… yeah no – this needs to be addressed or this game will fall faster than rift.

It’s not just transfers that’s causing the poop-out effect in some tiers.

Look at Yaks Bend. Last week, you’d see maybe a dozen on a whole map. This week, they own everything, like ants on a dropped sno-cone. It’s people not even trying to queue more than transfers.

Note that EU have free transfers too, yet their matches stay fairly competitive from week to week.

It’s more of a bandwagon while we win/quit if we’re behind that’s mucking it up. Some perception that if the map isn’t your color, you won’t get karma (which is a self-fulfilling prophecy).

Your right this isn’t rocket science.. I am not transfering off a server for Anet allowing this crap to happen. I could give a flying crap about bonuses… I do not play games for “Bonuses” …

I was on BG and we were doing well then all of them HOD people rolled over destroying our decent queues and taking all the fun out of WvW. So I figured if they can transfer and ruin my wvw I can transfer and get it back with minimal effort. So I left and am having a great time again it what may be the closest match I’ve seen to date in T1.

Yep. The ranking system is useless when competition dodgers are just going to jump ship to have an easier time. Just look at PRO from GoM. Supposedly they have 200+ active members with 6 commanders (more people than FA fielded total during the last matchup) and they’re looking to move to a server with more of a WvW presence.

Why wouldn’t they just throw together a few squads and go populate the maps themselves? Because that’d be too hard. They see the scores and have NO interest whatsoever in heading into a map. Obviously the only solution at that point is to jump ship.

I don’t mean to call out a specific guild as pretty much all fair weather players are doing, they just made a GREAT example. Server transfers ruin the ranking system and kill competition in WvW.

(I’m currently fighting a decent matchup in TC/FA/DB, let’s see how long it lasts before the “fair weather shuffle” ruins it.)

Totally missed that, he probably should of posted that in another thread. Personally I’m reluctant to continue to read a thread thats achieved its purpose. These days after that it just ends up in trolling.

You guys could transfer to Whiteside Ridge. We work hard every single point we take; and we do not switch servers on a whim.

If you do, you’ll probably get used to losing some fights in the end, but those we win, we work for.
