We want to give you a heads up: Starting with the new WvW rotation tomorrow, we will limit the free World transfer to one transfer every 24h. This should address some of the unwanted WvW exploits we have seen, while still giving people the opportunity to switch a server to play with their friends.)

NO WHERE NEAR LONG ENOUGH NEEDS TO BE 168 HOURS ( 7 DAYS)
Maybe placing it in capitals they may take note of it.
Who am I kidding they won’t take the slightest bit of notice at all.
EU servers have just become overflow servers for the Massively Over Populated US Servers.

It needs to be 1 month cos people can predict 1 matches in advance, but not 4 weeks in advance therefore they cannot transfer ahead of time in hopes of sabotaging their opponents.

…why not simply charge for server transfers…?

Because Anet promised that the feature “guesting” (playing PvE with friends on other servers) would be in the game at release. Since they couldn’t fix it for release they have free transfers.
So please fix guesting and start charging for transfers.
