I’ve read that with the free account a player will have access to WvW at level 60, will that include the new maps for WvW and content associated with WvW? I would think that using 2 separate WvW map systems would be a nightmare, especially in determining server ratings. If free accounts will be able to join guilds, I would think that guild numbers may swell as they incorporate new members with those free accounts. I haven’t read anywhere that a free account member would or would not be able to join an existing guild. If they are able to, would there be a way to filter the associated free accounts using the roster view? We run composition builds in WvW, if a free account would not have access to the new HOT content -it may throw off what can be done for those builds.

At the moment yes.

F2P players can join your normal guild, I couldn’t find any filter for them.. but maybe it’s just not in yet.
F2P players can join your normal wvw maps after one of their chars is lvl 60.
Not only F2P players will have no HoT builds, those who are not buying HoT but have normal account are the same. The builds for core and HoT guys can be the same (honestly don’t see f.e. Reaper as the must-have for necros in wvw), as only the elite spec. (weapon-skills-traits) are not there to use for them.
