Dear Anet developers,

We players and leaders from the guild Frozen Dawn had great time at WvW until something changed few weeks ago. We used to love the dynamic WvW aspect of the game and enjoying both, kicking other players around as well as being on the receiving end.

We know there are several problems and we can live with all of them, one excluded.

The one problem we do not accept and will not anymore play with is hacking.

We hereby let you and our community know, that our guild will not run any WvW events and most of our players will not log to WvW anymore, until the hacking problem has been permanently fixed.

We are very sorry that things have gotten so much out of hand, but we cannot accept that our 3-4 hours of work can be negated in a matter of minutes. We do hope you fix this as soon as possible, since we really love to play WvW. But until then, we will stay clear of it.

And just to clarify, we don’t cast blame on any particular server, guild or individual, we just want to play honest game with honest rules.

I can respect your decision.

I feel the orbs should be removed from Wv3 until they can fix the fly hack and breaking of the alters.

But in the end, as with all PC games, the community must stay involved in reporting hackers. Hacking is nothing new and infects every multi-player game on the market. Removing yourself from the game results in honest players inability to report hackers as they are no longer involved.

I hate it as much as the next person, but am vigilant to report ayone I see that hacks the game and ruins the experince for the honest community.

There is around 4 conclusive evidences on the Seafarer’s Rest that was hacking and was excomulgated from our community and transfered to Kodash (perhaps Desolation as well?). And unfortunately nothing has been done i think.

Can’t blame you one bit. Between all the bugs, exploits, hacks, invisibility, and general attitude of Arenanet both ingame and out of the game, I’m having a hard time enjoying the game, and I know others feel the same way.

I’ll try to play, but I’ve already been playing less. Supposedly the next patch won’t be here untill the 22th, and even then, no word of any of these critical issues being fixed by then or not. I can understand they are tricky problems to solve, but from a 200+ man development team you’d expect them to be able to fix things faster.

Hersin[BONE] here its sad news for SFR as far as i know FD was not in FU allience but they had really big impact in borderlands. It shame we loosing ( hope for short time ) a great organize group of players. I respect your decision <SALUT> and hope to see you back soon.

That’s what dark haven as a server did when sanctum of rall hacked. Guess what happens now, they won we lose. And they think they kitten all over my face now. What u need to do to a hacker is, win more.

They could do something like make altars indestructible till the keep lord is down. But i guess that makes too much sense for the average software engineer to figure out.
