Full Nomad Guardian OR Warrior?
Warrior but you’d also be doing almost nothing to help your team while a guardian would at least still provide stab and regroup empowers. Warrior is the frontline damage profession, tanking it up to that level kind of kills it’s purpose.
Zerg? Guardian will be best as you can use all that healing power to help your zerg. You also got secondary skills like wall of reflection to do tons of damage (well if they keep shooting you). Spec for maxing passive AoE heal, mace and shield then use bigger marks just to kitten off commanders (them swearing over what idiot use bigger marks is sooooo sweet).
But the Warrior will probably perform better solo.
Note that “perform” is a relative term. Best case scenario is that maybe they can kill a zerker thief if that thief is a moron and the fight last 10 minutes.

I would have to say Guardian as well but I’d just like to add that if you happen to decide to run Tactics + Shouts with your Warrior, I believe you could apply some decent AOE heals, too. Still, Guardian is the better choice regardless of build but Warrior can add to the zergs support if you run the right skills/traits, mainly Tactics. Which also has a minor trait that grants Healing Power per stack of Might.
Champion: Phantom, Hunter, Legionnaire, Genius
WvW rank: Diamond Colonel | Maguuma
Tempest > Guardian > Warrior
Guardians can be nigh unkillable outside of a ton of player wailing on them in the right setup. Warriors can be really difficult to bring down most of a fight but there are gaps.
Tempests… holy hell can they defensively sustain. Build for it and it takes a small army to make a dent.

Well the problem with the Warrior being able to do it so-so is that the Guardian will always do it better. I’m not one for meta zerg dps builds, I’ve ran pretty much every tanky build there is for long periods (even frontline tanky mesmer, lol).
It’s the passive AoE heals that take these classes far above the rest.
Warrior got banners, but their mechanic breaks down in a quick moving zerg fight and with them being utility skills they cripple survivability by taking up valuable slots.
Guardian with it’s fully traited virtue of resolve and healing symbols will just pump hp into the zerg constantly.
The same with an Elementalist fully traited soothing mist, as mentioned above. Cleric Tempest is currently my choice for zerging (I roam with a Scrapper otherwise). My soothing mist ticks for ~700hp, autoattack heal for 1K hp each, etc and so on. I love using it offensivly and pushing with the melee train, pumping in all the waters on attacks rather than regroups – which incidently almost become pointless. With enough heals the commander can just constantly slice into the enemy. Personally I made that class choice because honestly, nomad Guardian is boring in comparison, lol. But OP wanted one of the melee ones.
