Siege Tower (wood):

  • needs 150 supply
  • must be build in camp
  • must be driven to objective (is kitten kittening slow)
  • vulnerable to fire damage and burning
  • can be used to climb up inside the siege tower and exit on top of enemy wall

Superior Siege Tower (iron):

  • needs 200 supply
  • must be build in camp
  • must be driven to objective (is kitten kittening slow)
  • can be used to climb up inside the siege tower and exit on top of enemy wall

Catapult of Living things:

  • needs 80 supply
  • must be build in camp
  • must be driven to objective (not as slow as siege tower)
  • players can hop on catapult (one by one) and be thrown far and wide (over objective walls), but take 90% health damage, with fall trait only 45% health damage.

Dredge Iron Mole:

  • needs 300 supply
  • can only be build in dredge area in EBG
  • can carry 10 players
  • requires dredge to be on your side
  • can slowly move above ground
  • can burrow under ground and exit on a chosen point (selction with AoE cirkle)

Ooooooooh yes please! Siege tower battles would be so epic!!!! But I think the siege tower should require 10 (or 5 people) just to move it. And maybe trigger some kind of indicator for the enemy world, because if they don’t deal damage to walls, they could be used for sneaky attacks on undefended towers.

Also, the catapult should only be able to only fire asuras! Seriously though, this one would be too powerful, because of mesmers.

I love the idea of the Iron Mole. Maybe it could only be build in the dredge tunnels in EB, if you control them?

Siege Turtle:

  • 70 Supply
  • Driven by player
  • Skills:
    – A reflect (works on AC arrows too)
    – A signet with a passive that increases allies defense by 10% and an active that increases the turtles speed.

Deployable Guard:

  • 45 supply
  • Creates a Veteran Guard at the target area. Only useable in objectives that you control (sentries, camps, towers, keeps etc)
  • at max DG mastery (because all siege needs a mastery in WvW abilities) will deploy an Elite Guard
  • Superior version deploys a champ (with legend guard when mastered) for 100 supply.
  • Guard will contest claim points (as any other guard) and will despawn when killed or when objective is claimed.

This idea is awesome. I am very much in favor of it. Needs some limitations, but I can imagine this to be a fun addition…

Tunnel:

Creates an entrance and exit X units away for friendly units to safely and quickly traverse terrain.

When built against an enemy wall it gains “Undermine” which will destroy all tunnels built adjacent to the wall and doing massive damage for each tunnel sacrificed.

The OP siege is excellent idea and sounds way more fun than our current seige. Ive always been for deleting all siege except rams, but those siege suggestion sound kitten awesome.

Regular WvW, it would just let nightcappers and zergblobs steamroll even more.

Lol at the launch trap, just reminded me of the trap in clash of clans that just launches the foes out of the map

Wait I’ve got one, superior siege ladder, use 300 supplies, makes a ladder, have 1 person climb up the wall so they can jump down and unlock the gate, after 200 wvw rank points, u can increase ur climbing speed by 25 percent

Regular WvW, it would just let nightcappers and zergblobs steamroll even more.

it could work with a new EOTM map. I kind of hope they do make all the siege in here and create a map just for it all.

Lolol, I could imagine situations such as in EotM where it would be insanely OP but otherwise I think it would be a really fun and useful trap. Imagine trying to solo defend a tower from a zerg, trying to hold the capture ring until your zerg comes to help. Place a Launch Trap on the bridge just before the lord and watch half the zerg get fired straight back out of the tower. Would be a really good way to buy time. Or even in the Borderlands at Hills by the catapult spot, setting the trap there and having roaming groups get launched to their deaths when they try to snipe the keep, lol.
