Shadaran Hills…./sigh. What a blood bath it was there. Gotta say, I still can’t come up with a good strategy against the meat grinder Kaineng constructed inside the keep lord’s room. Ballista’s and arrow carts spamming the long hallway (the only way into the claiming room). We tried rushing zergs in, we tried setting up our own siege on the outside (btw, ballista’s are the only viable counter to the hallway, but we cannot even reach/hit Kaineng siege cause of LoS.

After a several attempts finally we overtook it. On the last attempt, the fighting in that hallway lasted at least 30 minutes. Like you said, I think we finally picked off enough Kaineng inside to give ourselves a fighting chance.

All in all, it was a blast. I think us at Fergusson’s Crossing has learned a lot this week fighting against Kaineng and Devona’s Rest. You definitely are very creative with your siege weapons.

yeah we tried… It’s hard to hold off what seems infinite numbers outside.. Fergs just have us WAY out numbered 4 – 1 sometimes i feel 6 to 1..

Haha, well to be honest, part of the infinite numbers was us respawning and running back. Some of those fights lasted forever. I think in one fight I died twice and came back while the fighting was still going on. This was even running all the way from our Citadel. It’s true though we had a full queue in our borderlands last night.

Funny thing about our perspective is, it seemed like you guys were multiplying in that room. We would kill some off but you guys still had strong numbers inside (until the end).

It’s very interesting how things change when you’re winning. Just last week we were always outmanned when we got destroyed by NSP. This week, all maps tend to fill up pretty quick.

Holding us off that long in that one hallway caused our server to make a lot of mistakes. We were so focused on trying to get that keep that we let Devona’s take over much of the SW/W side of our map. On top of that, the quaggan’s wrecked our garrison orb altar and we had to move it when it respawned. We had to pull back our efforts to retake everything. It wasn’t until we pushed DR back that we had a chance to retake Shadaran Hills.

the important thing is everyone had fun and that KWBH held a keep for so long haha

enjoyed the other battles as well I know everyone from my guild had a blast

Ferg server I wish we were still in the same bracket then you.
Anvil Rock stayed NSP and this week isnt a good week for W3 on AR.
Hoping to fight you against! Your bracket seems a lot of fun!

We did it again today.

both days it was apathy inc leading the keep take and setting up most of the defenses in the inner keep including our new addition, a center trebuchet. a catapult and a few arrow carts and 2 ballista were added from other people.

We attempted two orb steals today on dreadfall but didnt manage to break the inner door. One of these days were going to setup the ultimate meatgrinder backed up with an orb buff.

Thanks to all the guilds thats showed up after we knocked the wall down, we almost faltered on our second attempt but managed to finish the door with a late ram. From there our saga of crushing a third of the map went forward. Several guilds setup a seige on bluebrair by trebbing it from the ruins. (i think it was smiles was it you?). Eventually the ferg just started to outnumber and outzerg our forces and we lost redlake and the enemies were on the gates once again. And then again, we held out the inner lord room, with a guardian rotation that locked the entrance way down (provided from an allied guild, forget which sorry its late, but you guys deserve credit for locking that hallway off).
