Eb @Borders are dead anyhow

i mean seriously ..WvW is dead ..for sure …so if all just go eotm …we can have great fights
screw borders and eb …

There’s still a few matchups that are active though. Especially kitten EU and kitten NA. EoTM can’t really provide a recruitment pool or clear open field fights (majority of the map has too much verticality, choke points or insta death drops). There’s still no motivation for players to enter EoTM if you’re in an active matchup.

lol EOTM in general has been fight-heavy, NA, for the last batch of months.. even more so post-HoT due to the introduction of the Desert(ed) Borderlands.

So many different guilds running around in there, it’s nice to see good fights going on.

EotM fights are still uplevels getting 1-pushed then its right back to the PvD.

EotM has had a few more fights recently than some nights in regular WvW. Other nights reg WvW is really active. Of course this is NA T1. I do like that when I go into EotM to farm proofs there will occasionally be real fights, but unfortunately it’s still mostly 1-pushing uplevels.

I’ve been hanging out in EotM lately to level my mesmer. It’s a shame the map isn’t really good for actual WvW, because I do like it. And while we’ve gotten some fights, you can tell most of the people there aren’t really PvPers. What’s even worse is when I’m running in the 30 man zerg and we wipe a group of 5-10 and someone goes “so ez”…like, it actually makes me want to log off.

EotM is just proof how wvw suck right now, you can’t even level elites thare anymore cause of 1 badge drop and massive zerg full of premades owning 2 other borders. 95% outnumbered and can’t do anything.

PvP is in same state.

PvE is borring and timegated.

Time to take pause for 6 months.

I went into EotM yesterday for some action as EB was just about dead.

Got a shock though, at our spawn point – just 2 of us – no commander tags and no green dots on mini-map – waited a while but no one else showed up so left.

No idea how many EotM instances there are – any way to find out?

No way to find out how many there are, but if you join late in a match and you dont taxi in by friends to a populated instance, forget about it. You will land in a low populated crap instance everyone has already abandoned probably because its been completely unbalanced for a while.

The best instances you will find is right on match reset, the very first in line.

I often feel guilty about going into EotM because our FoW server currently has so few of players that often people are waiting for help to arrive. Anyhow I did found some fantastic multi Zerg battles on EotM a few weeeks ago.

You can actually only check and note the ip for the instance.

You can try leaving and coming back few times. It might take a few minutes but you have high chances to switch to better map (But remember to leave party/squad – otherwise you get pulled).
Once I entered 4 different instances within 2 minutes.

Maybe we should combine both names and make it the desert(ed) boringlands? Maybe that will make anet realise lmao.
