Was having fun until one of your guys came running out of the way point and ruined everything, I do believe I killed him before the gang bang happened though
Awesome fighting in GoM borderlands earlier, managed to hold Kaineng off for ~ 2 hours at Cragtop tower until eventually you guys took out a lot of our defensive siege with the unnoticed trebs hiding near foghaven supply camp! We were able to get the garrison walls down but had no where near enough to make the push through the countless bodies you guys constantly threw at us. All in all had some good fun.
They tried Foghaven trebs earlier this week on us too when I was at Cragtop earlier this week. Luckily we had a treb inside to pre-emptively counter it.
I didn’t even know trebs from there could reach ’till this matchup.
Wish we had RH with us at the time, first I’ve seen of it too – although we did manage to get them down before the our walls fell but by then they had another 4 trebs in the garrison and our counter siege was lost

Do not fear Kaineng zerg; they can be pushed back and beaten.
GoM managed to crush them numerous times.
If you guys can survive the initial Day 1 engagement, I’m confident that you guys can hand good fights to Kaineng. Kaineng, without WM/KOR/DE reinforcement, are not invincible, and they can be beaten.
Yesterday people claimed that they’ve gotten rare items from killing a WM player.
And I’ve gotten loads of badges… they keep on coming and coming and coming.
Tell your AR buddies that WM drops better loots than Claw of Zormag.

Not in fight fight club, in general WvW. We ran the guards zerg out of titan and she did it as soon as we downed, that’s kinda lame. The thief and I a good fight since we are both p/d, I barely won and then he does that. Can’t trust any of you to not just mob on us there.
I had to leave early, but things seem to have started swimmingly.

Just now a mesmer ported in some GoM players into Craigtop Tower at GoM BL.
The thing is, no wall or gate was down, was a breakout event.
I set up some good defensive seige, and Im glad I had a chance to use it, but I am disappointed that GoM took the tower this way.
you outnumber us 5:1 and you complain about a mesmer getting us in? get real.
or how about the time your zerg failed twice in a row so you trebbed a paper tower? that was just as, if not more funny.

Everyone currently on this server started from scratch here and there is nothing that you say or do that can prove otherwise. See what I’m doing? I’m doing what you are trying to do, but I’m doing it better. More logic and stuff.

wierd, tier 7 is even more boring than tier 8, at least ET or FC had taken back their garrison for serveral times during last match, and kaineng guilds didn’t bother to setup waypoint in garrisons and some keeps , now waypoints everywhere…

well, i might’ve took you seriously if not for the last 3 sentences. apparently mesmers can no longer hide in a tower(? lol you couldn’t find him in a TOWER?) and use portal. you are all natural zerg and no brain. and you guys just legit failed at taking sunnyhill six times. and lost our garrison in the process. despite a three to one battle in your favor.

Both GoM and HoD today has been a blast so far in wvw, you guys are really giving us a good fight in two BL’s. I’m glad a lot of you haven’t given up against the odds, It makes for some fun skirmishes.
What a great fight today in GoM borderlands, fought off the siege at sunny for near 4 hours with both our walls and the garrisons falling down repeatedly, until we finally made the push through the broken wall and breached the inner to finally take our keep!
The fight still goes on so keep it up GoM, this is our first major push since reset and we are finally able to match Kainengs numbers in our own BL!

Some of you remember me, I’m Tossed Fish, the messenger on vent for Fight Club representing HoD.
I just want to let you that we had a blast. As a vet in WvW for HoD, we get stomped week after week. Even after this painful week, Kain managed to pull out something really fun for us at the end. Every one of my guys enjoyed themselves which makes me very happy. It was well organized with very little communication. I’d like to think I did a good job. lol.
As for the last 5v5 we had, I know you guys got upset for the staking. We didn’t do for badges, if we wanted badges, we would have staked after every fight. I knew the rules, but they got trigger happy and figured staking counts b.c they thought you can rally/revive. So that was bad communication on my part.
Anyway. Thank you all! Especially [RE] for putting this together!
Shoutouts to everyone I fought in Fight Club tonight. Had a blast especially during the 2v2s with my buddy Krag. And yeah, I take the blame for finishing people. I was a little kitten when you all got the jump on us during the 5v5 and I guess my instinct to finish people got the better of me. I was not completely aware of the rules until after the fact. Hopefully there aren’t too many hard feelings and GGs.

Main reason no staking in fight club is to save on armor repairs, no stake, no cost. ^^ fyi … when we were taking the camp… it was to avoid any of our pugs or other guilds that may not be there, moving maps to come take something over at the end. Tried to avoid unwanted attention. But I believe that thinking above also contributed to you guys just coming up and start fighting everyone (a couple of you guys who were having some fun anyways). In any event, the fight club was a lot of fun, and we appreciate your guys time coming over out from your day. Gives us all a little down time to play and tweak builds, and hope you guys all had fun.

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve just really always wanted to declare war on someone. This gives me a fairly legit excuse.
That said, it was good fights all around, and I look forward to the GoM-HoD-NSP/DH match that may occur.

I didn’t get any footage of the jackalope stuff, but I did get some video of a duel between me and Shaka while you were twirling around with fireworks.
Two things to point out in the screenshot: 1) You Ai folks sure love to prance, and 2) even in parties, GoM and HoD are out-numbered by Kaineng 3:1

Aside from my initial frustration earlier this week, I would say the times that GoM managed to take Sunny Hill/Cragtop/Keep and hold onto it for awhile was a very enjoyable experience. Earlier today when we had a good showing of players in our BL the fights were the best this week. Also whilst exploring Kainegs BL jumping puzzle I ran into a Kaineg thief, instead of stomping the necromancer I was leveling he added me to a party. We ended up just talking thief and necro builds and skills we liked. Nice change of pace to the hostility I usually see.

Fight Club was a fun event. I’m glad I attended and that everyone had fun. I mostly got beat pretty good. especially by that Ele from GOM (I think), but managed one match anyway against someone else. I have to say I am somewhat envious of how good some of the people from both sides are at 1v1.
To the poor guy I accidentally spiked, my sincere apologies. It was some stupid carelessness on my part, totally unintentional, but I let you guys kill me twice for free anyway.
I guess we move on today, but it was a fun way to end the week. Good luck to GOM and HOD in their next match up.

Probably because the experience of this week has taught us that the odds of that lone Kain that we spotted actually being alone are astronomically low.

When I was spamming Lions Arch I didn’t mention the no staking during my first announcement but made sure to mention no staking subsequently – sorry probably my bad there – Thanks again to the RE guild and other Kaineng players for arranging this and the GoM players who participated – I think we may adopt the practice going forward

actually i was JUST about to post that it was your screenshot I just put it on imgur and posted here – I figured most people knew i was just the town crier in Lions Arch so I wasn’t there most of the fights – you can get a sense of just how popular this must be with the RE guild as there are only a few other Kaineng there but TONS of RE guild members

Just my two cents. Do large server transfers skew the game? Yes. Will everyone leave a losing server? depends on player. Should seven day free transfers be changed? yes, tho not sure what would help it, maybe 30 day cool-down? If anyone thinks that a bottom ranked server can suddenly come to life without huge transfers, well you’ve not played much.
The screenshot shows the imbalance.
GoM/HoD/SF had some epic battles, I personally was on the losing server for all 3 weeks of it, but it was a good challenge. As far as this week goes, Yes; we’ve learned a lot, honed our skills, and had some fun times (Like 4 people taking green lake and blue water) or 6 level 10’s whomping on groups of 5+ level 80’s.
Final note: Disrespecting? it’s a battlefield, I’ve had my corpse danced on etc… Who really cares? Taunts? That’s part of war. If you take it personal then maybe you should turn off the games and visit real life. BTW: real life is far worse then a bunch of “toons” emoting “xxx laughs at you.”
