Seriously. Why the hell do I want the MMO equivalent of pop up ads. I don’t give a crap about bumkitten camp being capped. I care that when I click to port, the UI blocks my port and RIP’s me because some dev took a blow to the head and thought this was a good idea.

I think it’s a great idea too. Making it optional would be fine, but it’s never once gotten in the way of anything I’ve wanted to do.

I actually really like the notifications. I’m not constantly monitoring the map, so it’s nice to receive a heads-up when the state changes. I can see it being an option, though.

They’re obnoxious.

It would be nice if it were optional, absolutely! It would also be great if we could resize it and maybe have a small pop-up at the top/bottom of the minimap, or at some other spot on screen. The big notification is too much.

Notifications are nice, but can it be in the form of a news ticker instead of covering half the screen?

I’d love for it to be removed, too. Would love for map reading to still be a useful skill in wvw; this addition trivializes it.

Yeah I hate it when it pops up in the middle of a fight.
Please make it optional or at least allow us to click-to-dismiss instead of having to wait out the whole thing.

I like the notification, but please give us an option to disable it, or better yet, make it movable so we can move it elsewhere on the screen and perhaps resize it.

‘Map-reading’ is hardly a skill. I say this as someone who obsessively checks my map and calls out swords wherever they are found. Usually, the pop-up doesn’t tell me anything I hadn’t already predicted, but it’s still a useful information feed and I’d never advocate removing it to hide that information behind compulsive map checking.

Make it optional, easy peasy. One click, no rage:)
