I’ve been seeing this quite a bit since the update before the Dec 10 update. I think it’s just a graphical bug.

I was jumping to the same conclusion, but it was awfully persistent. Left a very long tail when he walked/shadowstepped, and I haven’t seen any graphical bugs quite so permanent.

I know particle effects “block” up like that when a character is petrified by the box of fun, I don’t remember if it happens from the Halloween ghost food, which would be a likely explanation.

right, well he didn’t have any unusual conditions on him like petrified gives, and even still, you can see all that smoke trailing from behind.

Think it’s caused by using certain food like that omnomberry ghost stuff.

It is from one of the foods introduced in the haloween update. Not sure exactly what one, but it looks awesome on golems

Wow, yeah ok I’m just stupid. I guess the Strawberry Ghost only works occasionally? I remember trying it before and it didn’t work, but oh well. thanks!

Omnomberry Ghost is a food I often have used in WvW. It makes you ghostlike for a short while, with a trail of fog. It’s been around for quite a while.

The effect slowly fades away over about 5 minutes.

if it gives 15% exp its that if it gives hp steal its imnom ghost
