Gliders in EotM and the new DBL would be awesome (not EBG the map isn’t made for it). It would add a very interesting aspect to roaming (I have to look up now too) as well as to zerging.

People would use gliders to run from fights constantly, lets be real. We should try to encourage fights, not running.

New borderlands are clearly designed to be used with gliders. Then someone decided to not allow them (possible because of the creative ways players could abuse them). But still after running around in new HoT maps and then returning to BL, first thing I did was to jump off the cliff and press space. Again. And again. And thinking, while falling to death, thats weird.

The gliders must be allowed in BL maps. I dont even care if you could jump over some tower walls in EB, just place some snipers in each tower that do 90% damage to gliding players.

Then make the NPC archers one shot people off gliders and add in anti-air flak cannons as siege weapons to do the same for players.

You can’t use elite specs or play revenant without HoT either so those should be banned from wvw too?

Would be cool if they found a way to make this work. Mostly because gliding is fun!

Not really, if you take a look at the mastery system, glide for example, it has a stealth mastery. Seems only fitting as one example of the possible use.

New map has a lot of varying heights – perfect for gliding. Ever play Aion? Fighting and flight. Ever think or connect the NCSoft and Arena Net dots? Aion was a big part, fail, of NCSoft a few years back.

Also gliding has a time window associated with it. You have to decide when to stop, fall a bit, slow down, etc. It is actually a pretty significant skill much like that of dodge and should be considered.

Can we also have gliders work in all PvE zones?

Kinda would be fantastic to glide around Black Citidel and Divinity Reach
