Guild Wars 2

Every time I go to play WvW, I usually see a bunch of banners clustered around spawn points for all to use. Sometimes I see “Road Marker” banners along with the regular buff banners, which are meant to give swiftness to people who use them…

Unfortunately, they function similarly to the old Temporal Curtain skill on Mesmer’s focus, meaning they don’t give swiftness to people who already have the boon (when tested it only gives swiftness to people with either none, or with 5 seconds or less). This is just a nitpick, but I’m constantly reminded of how outdated this function is every time I play (Temporal Curtain was patched to stack swiftness on players back in 2015).

Is there any chance this would be changed in the future? :P

I noticed this recently as well and totally support this change.

Yeah, it needs some changes for sure. Pretty useless unless you have them every xxxx range all over the map – I can’t remember if it overrides stacks like supply depots with traits for swiftness do but I will have to retest with my spring rolls.
