We already have cloned, generic maps; can we at least get to see the names of our enemies in the game?

Seriously, there’s absolutely no reason to not allow the opposing side to see your name and vice-versa.

A lot is taken away from the competitive nature of open world PvP when you can’t identify your enemy.

Is that “Joe Punkman” hiding behind that generic title or “Murderous Mandler” ?

Why does it matter, well, vendetta and combat awareness mainly, plus it’s more engaging when you have real enemies and not nameless objects that could just be NPC’s.

I mean Joe Punkman might be a dude that waved at you earlier and didn’t take advantage of a situation, you might wish to return the favor…if you could recognize him.

But Mandler, oh he’s wanted dead by dozens of people for being a total kitten…

So, who should be the priority target?

Get the picture?

Discussed over and over through the years… You could always google the topic and save some time…

As for the “who to take as the most threat”, guild names.

Maybe to avoid trash talk or verbal abuse from others??? Even now people can get your name if they know how and they usually whisper you with QQ’s followed by trash talk.

I can last maybe 1 hour in PVP before the trash talk between others just gets to me.

Sorry but I’m happy that the enemies can’t whisper me at will to cry and complain about this and that.

Go to PvP if you want that. I personally enjoy just seeing every look like (and usually act like) a trash mob – I feel no regret in defeating them.

I know people like it for duels, but I really wish they would stop allowing enemies to find our name and then whine like little kittenes when you kill them. It’s incredibly annoying to have to keep blocking people because they can find out who I am. Leave me be, whiners!
