I can understand it in tPvp but in WvW w/ the restructure of maps why it wasn’t implemented. At least a trial of it or an area allowing it would be more then a reasonable request. Zergs are zergs can’t do much about that. I’m in ET and the maps are dead, I don’t see other players 99% of the time, its slow as can be and gliders would be an improvement to the overall game play.
They could probably do gliders in the new maps, lots of high altitude points to jump from to get around the map. I mean spawn does sits on top of a hill in the bl. Just don’t expect it anytime soon.
As for zergs stealth flying in, OP is right, zergs are gonna be rolling in by the dozens no matter what.
oh wow.. my post saying if gliders were into wvw we could no longer drop players from cliff got deleted Ç_Ç why?
totally expect gliders in wvw now :P
I’d go for it in the new bl.. Might actually make me want to play them.

lol that cliff drop no more? maybe if people without HOT cant use gliders you might get lucky haha
If we had gliders the fall damage traits would become useful openers when you drop on someone’s head
It’ll be nice if they were usable only within specific areas with visible ‘wind currents’ after activating a map’s special objective, and without requiring the PvE Mastery. Straying away too far from them would mean falling.
They’ll be basically like bridges that disable your skills while you cross them. You save time at the cost of being exposed to attack without being able to retaliate.
