Well, we roam and having a 50 man zerg chase you down, it was nice to be able to “just glide away”.. It’s a new feature, just get used to it.. And it’s real fun to pull them out of the sky and watch them die from fall damage.

Ok just make sure to capture any keep/tower/camp near you before fighting anyone…got it!
CC is supposed to knock them off but as was instantly noted in the gliding thread… this heavily favor certain classes using certain skills and weapons. Many CC skills are either point blank or ground, which is obviously useless.

Can confirm; earlier I thought an ele somehow rezzed and had used Ride the Lightning (Air/Dagger 4) but it was in fact the effects of his glider as he fell straight down out of glider mode as soon as mist form ended.
I have glided away from fights before it even got added. DBL Hills windfall and the haybales all over helped me a lot.

This is working as intended. If you own that are you can glide away, just like in other parts of the game. I prefer to stand and fight, but to each their own I guess.

Though with the air keep buff and shrines, a Zerg could drop on a Zerg and do massive damage. People need to watch the skies!!!
