Ehmry worked for about 12 hours to secure 2 of the orbs (the other one was glitched to give Gates of Madness a free orb all week), and they were just fly hacked at 2:00 PM EST. At the same time, a 5 Alpha Siege Golem army arrived simultaneously to take Etheron from us. We were not happy. This is how Ehmry treats those that disrespect us.

WvW Rule 96: When one random player hacks, it’s the entire servers fault.

Actually it is, you guys hacked the orbs JUST BEFORE flooding all the WvW zones with huge zergs. Your offensive was COMPLETELY coordinated with the timing of the orb hacking. Whether or not you did it, you took full advantage of the circumstances.

They hacked again? Did it in our match last week too. Stealing three orbs in less than 10 minutes. Screenshots and video were taken. Even though it isn’t the rest of their population’s fault, they still benefit from this low-life. The only way to have justice right now is to get it yourself – exactly the way you did.

It’s certainly building a reputation, unfortunately. You’d think ANet would deal with this issue. I know it’s not everyone on the server (and, for the record, I’ve hated that defense anyway; if there’s something egregious, the other realms can most certainly turn to focus on GoM or any other server that had an exploiter if they want to try and regain what was taken from them)…but this has been happening with a level of consistency in matches at this point which is truly disappointing.

Happened again huh? Not just the orb hacking I mean, I recall last week a huge zerg magically pressed one of our keeps after we lost the orbs. So I guess the question is, are they still losing despite this?

I take no small joy in seeing Ehmry Bay dominating despite the initial orb madness.

Those “GoM hacked our shiny, my pants are sandy” threads are getting old. Every single server has hackers and during every single match something shady happens with orbs.
Your server hacked those orbs as well, so please stop pose like some fairy at the ball.

so now, if i want the server i am typically on to win, i just have to exploit on the opposing server so they stop fighting and give my server more ground.. sweet. good idea

Got proof? Please send screens and video to anet. They issued some permabans recently and I’ve not seen any sign of hacking on our server since. We had all orbs yesterday and the ones I was a part of were legit. If we still have a hacker problem, WE WANT THEM GONE.

This matchup so far has been great. Don’t ruin it by being a kitten.

The Ehmry Bay orb hacked shortly after the orb in Sorrow’s Furnace was hacked. Our altar in our garrison was broken, and since they had no where to put it, the hacker thought it’d be funny to fly it around in the puzzle. You can say “a mesmer did it”, but there was zero foothold in our borderlands, the gates were 100%, and it’s ignorant to claim someone could walk to the puzzle out of the garrison with the orb.

Our orb in Etheron went into Dreaming Bay immediately as GoM took the Bay Keep. This was followed up by a 50 man organized zerg that was repelled later on.

Contrary to your assumption, “everyone hacks, even you guys”, Ehmry has not hacked any of the orbs. I was the commander present when we secured our Garrison orb after taking it back from GoM in a 4 hour siege of Askalion Hills Friday night. I was also there for Sorrow’s Furnace orb when we got into GoM’s Dreaming Bay, wiped, but destroyed the altar and won the fight for it north.

Whereas Yak’s Bend had a hacker do the same thing to us last week, their guild leader made a formal apology, and offered to give the orb back to us. They also reported the person who placed it on their altar. In this instance, GoM remained silent and assumed it was the best time to take everything in a blitz on the map.

im on SF, generally we do alright and have alot of fun, However the transfers, hackers hasnt gotten alot of people down, Actually we are completly fed up with it. Orbs need to be disabled, Hell Disable WvW till you can stock these friggin hacks,cheats and end transfers. Not only has Anet sent my server, Who used to do very well and we had a very high pop down to almost no pop, But Today i was pveing, farming mats, saving money for my WvW habbit, and guess wat, i counted over 40 Bots in just 1 map, i reported them all, But man this is just out of hand now, No side is geting a real fight, No side has the rite to claim victory, Not untill these issues are resolved, Then and Only then will Server’s get the rite to say THey DID IT. Atm, tooo easy to move from 1 server to another n go back n forth. No offense to ya Gom or Ehmry. Just seen this crap wayy too much, and seeing this thread just made me even more angier then i already am.

GoM already got 20 threads about evil-evil us hacking things. We tried to speak with people, we returned orbs after hackers doing, we reported, we said our “sorry” even we’re not those who to blame.

Did it help? No. It seems, nice behavior only getting things worse. It seems, now we’re officially “server of hackers” and kids like Dane.3948 (have my report) slinging mud at us every time they can.

I’m tired of that. I want just to play the game and have fun. When your server hacked orbs? Who knows. Maybe, your opponents wasn’t such kittens about this to make thousand threads on the forum? Maybe, they just wrote a report instead of blaming your whole server for couple of scumbags?

If you want some kind of formal apology – go ask them from Anet. It’s their game and their job, not my. I’m just a consumer who bought the game to play it. A consumer, you called a hacker. Like several thousands other people. So nice of you.

The last couple servers we’ve faced aren’t too proud to sling mud on the forums at us. Just ask Maguuma.
