Here’s a graph showing TS3 bandwidth use throughout the month of July. You can see that after just two days of Golem Week, that bandwidth use dropped to about half of baseline level.

I don’t know what ANet’s goal was, but a lot of wvw players stopped playing as the week wore on, and most guilds stopped raiding entirely. I wonder what the long-term impact of this will be.

Bom that is on tc we raid ever night during the golem event our guild loved it it was very fun event do not think this will long time impact for sever like tc I was shock to see the amount q.q for no reason on my fun sever that home of yak parades

Am I guilty of throwing 100g worth of omegas after a GvG earlier this week? Yes, But that was for like an hour (which is how long the Yak Parades last, and are fun). Not to say that it was not a fun idea, but a week seemed excessive. Server bandwidth was almost halved due to a large portion of the WvW community on TC not logging in or resorting to farming in Dry Top.

A large group of TC decided to take the week off from WvW.

However, we had one of the strongest OCX presences this week. Irony.

This is interesting. Our TS owner linked me a graph to TS usage a few days ago which also showed a 50% decrease in bandwidth.

Last night my guild ran a golem train in EB for a little more than an hour. It was only six of us in TS but we had around 30 on tag (normally we’ll get about 20 in channel). Golem training doesn’t need TS. That’s how mindless it is.

JQ TS was the deadest I’ve ever seen it during NA prime on Wednesday and Thursday. The vast majority of commanders willing to pin up for PUGs took the week off.

Thanks to Luvpie [FANG], Not A Commander [SF] and Bruv for pinning up on EB for a couple hours during NA prime so at least there was something to do other than AFK at a supply camp or farm Silverwastes.

You’d think this game was completely DEAD based on TS population after Monday.

Both of the TC guilds I do WvW with did other things this week, I never felt the need to k-train and that is what this week was. Gonna be good to see it end!

Thank god this week is over!!!!! My guild hasn’t raided all week in WvW….

That graph shows and proves that Mike was right, even though we play WvW, we’re typically really into PvE.

The golem event should just have been a weekend event.
