Will we get Golem mastery after season one? Golems started to feel weak since ram mastery is so powerful.

I’d suggest: Some speed boost. No(or lowered) falling damage. A movement skill with 1500 range. And of course for the first 1-2 some attack damge increase or CD decrease(other stuff at 3-5 to be more expensive).

The benefit with golems is that they are mobile. Should any mastery be added for them, it should probably only be for defence rather than any offensive type masteries. They are already extremely powerful.

Nah they should get rollerskates and nitro. Also increased up times for their projectile shield and increased range on their attacks

I don’t think omegas need a buff.

I pretty much agree. If anything, all they need is a speed boost and maybe reduced cooldowns. Besides that, any added attacks or defenses would just make them ridiculous.

Seriously.

Once they remove waypoints, golems are already gonna be able to burn through gates faster than you can cross from Bay to Hills.

Unlike rams, you can always bring an arbitrary amount of golems and then build rams on top of that.

Golem mastery would be welcome only if…

  • Golems are not affected by any boons nor attributes their driver has.
  • While driving a golem, players cannot use portals or waypoints.
  • Golems are not affected by Time Warp nor any other field.
  • Golems cannot be stealthed.
  • Golems cannot enter spawn area.

The sarcasm in this thread is at critical high levels I see. But no, we do not need Golem Mastery. Golems are already powerful enough as it is. Anyone who has tried to hold of a golem rush on your keeps knows this. Arrow carts do so little damage to golems that its not really noticed.

But they arent portable. We have taken an entire map with 1 omega golems. So much fun, and in the end saved tons of supply.

Golem is the only siege that has an auto-attack. Ctrl-mouse2 on skill 1 and you can read these forums while destroying a gate.

Good idea. I don’t see why they should be able to move to spawn. Should be there even without mastery. You can’t build sieges there. But building golems elswhere and move them to spawn where they are safe until you have 100 to rush the enemy is okay? WP always seemed strange. They are supposed to be slow and vulnerable. Mesmer use of portal is okay. It is a strategy and makes their portal useful. But WP should not be allowed. Stealth: They are too big to be stealthed.

i would like golems with wings that can fly over the walls. or golems that can be fired with trebs to overcome great distances. maybe 5 ppl can enter a single golem that it can function as a troup transporter. finally a transformation should be implemented, 5 omega golem will become one zeta golem with superior firepower and laser guns. also some anti air funktions to fight again invading flying golems
