Good/Bad Idea: Infiltrator's JP
My WvW server is small compared to what we have been up against on both sides. Tonight we fought tooth and nail to hold on to our garrison against a swarm of enemy. We held them off for over an hour before the inevitable face roll. Your proposal in effect is just handing them the keys to the gate with little or no fight. In fact its really unnecessary because this pattern always produces the same outcome where players finally just stop logging into WvW at all. So if your on a higher WvW pop server than one of your competitors you only have to sit tight for a little while and you can take your objective without a fight from the other side in due time.
Other than that Mesmer’s are already hiding in keeps after they have been taken back, then port their team players back inside. Some have hidden for hours avoiding detection because if found it usually ends badly for the mesmer. However if they pull it off the reward is indeed great.
So in my opinion maybe it could be used for pve, but in WvW I’d say its already pretty exciting hiding in the enemy’s keep without getting busted.
