Good job Anet
I agree. I think that yes, there are issues coming up, but one night is too soon to tell how the rest of the game will be in 2 to 3 weeks once the hype calms down. I welcome the chance of meeting new players from other servers without having to leave my own server. Yes the queues were inconvenient last night (64 people, 45 minute wait time), but the experience and positive attitude more than made up for it … plus I got to shower and make coffee before gaming.
I trust in Anet’s ability to sort through the things that need to be improved, and I don’t doubt that this change was for the better. It’s true that lower population servers will feel the brunt of it, but change always comes friction. Let’s be patient, wait, and see how it progresses.
Again, thank you Anet. =^.^=

there are MORE complains then ppl posting they love this patch

IF… from now on , we’ll have to wait 1 or 2 hours just to get in wvw
will Anyone be a happy camper ?
I really wanna see how many ppl said yes to this question
There are just many more players playing WvW now. There will always be someone complaining, but what matters more is that players are back and enjoying the game instead of sitting in forum and writing up long comments about what is all wrong with it.

That is false, we have have people like you making multiple posts and spamming the WvW forum complaining and then unique posts from people saying they actually enjoy the change or that they don’t. There is people both for and against the server linking but it isn’t something that appears to have majority disapproval. It’s funny to me that you even wrote a response to the OP here since you literally made like 10 posts whining about the change. We get that you don’t like it Keviin Snow but quit trying to shout over everyone figuratively speaking on these forums.

Reset night was crazy populated, 100 man queues on EBG and big queues on BLs as well. Tonight was much better, 20 man EBG queue tops and small occasional queues on BLs.
Love this change. Didn’t have so much action in wvw in ages.
Look at how effective someone is in a full Dire set.
Nice balance.

Actually it might be the fact that unhappy people are more likely to raise their hands, many of us are guilty in this, I’ve been complaining about wvw and general gw2 changes in the past many times but only posted like once in one of these “thank you” posts.
While I think wvw has been awesome since the change (continuous action, lots of epic battles, finally people on the borderlands), it’s true that queues are suboptimal (last night we had all maps queued). I think it’s partially due to lots of PvE players farming the reward tracks, and will only last for a short while. Maybe the pairings were not done right and also added more people to the maps than expected. On one hand Anet could increase the number of players that fit on a map, but in larger encounters the FPS is already quite low for many of us, and higher limits could make that even worse. Not sure what could be done…
