Hey guys im tired of the blobs in t1 SFR and VS just do it too much it gets frustrating.

Anybody knows a good server to have small scale on?

Would be appreciated !

Well, here on Gandara we like smaller scale fights, defending towers with siege and that sort of thing. The only problem is that we’ve been getting paired up with servers like Elona’s Reach and Desolution lately (in other words, higher tier) who like to run the blob. Also, we’re not very high in numbers right now due to the PVE farming. But mentality-wise, I think you would like it here.

I would suggest servers that are higher then rank 17 on the ladder.

what is small scale for You? We fought Gandara several times and Gandara did not look as small scale. Because of their numbers and because of enemies are blobing too, so Gandara need to blob. You cant counter Blobaddons with 10-15 people.

If small scale you mean party of 5 or 10 people. Go anywhere rating 15+, but rather 20+ because nr.19 can be matched against Fort Ranick and 10-15 people cant counter them.

Ring of Fire has a pretty good scene even though we’re often matched up against higher servers. We get a fair number of compliments from our opponents and hacking complaints are really rare.

Gandara is great for small scale WvW on the borderland maps. But EB is very much a karma/Wxp train.

I think hopping from a rank 1 server to a rank 20+ might be a bit too much of a shock to what you’re used to. The population/coverage difference is pretty huge, so you might be disappointed with the potential for much less action. Therefore, I recommend going for a rank 10-15 server. Aurora Glade would be a good bet, plenty of cool small scale guild-led WvW there.

Unfortunately, the blob meta has taken over all tiers, except the ones where the population is not able to field the numbers needed. Haven`t met a single server in EU that is noticably different in that regard. I`m talking mid-high tiers, that`s what I experienced. Low tier servers have the problem to be almost empty at offpeak hours.

In consequence you decide, walking through empty maps looking for that three enemies around or getting rolled by blobs every now and then.

For small scale go Gandara 10-15, for a bit bigger 20-30 come AG lots of good guild here.
