Every single person that cries here about those stacks got his kitten handled to him by a stacked up roamer(s) while running through open area trying to reach his blob. Serves you right, zerglets.

I’m complaining about them, and I’m the roamer who kills, a lot, but who cares anymore ? Anet doesn’t like fairness pvp, so this discussion is pointless.

And who can blame them ? GW1 main problem was the skill level, people where overwhelmed and scared to fight, now in GW2 you need only little skill to play most classes and Anest is giving more and more power creep to help pvers/bad players to feel skilled. LOL

This post lacks logic so badly. It’s mostly roamers that find these buffs stupid because they make 1v1/small scale fights unbalanced.

I haven’t yet found anyone with full stack+full ascendent ( trinkets+weapons), but I bet he will destroy me even if hes not good.

Quotes like this are somewhat worrisome… who’s going to play if they think they’re going to be destroyed — not by skill, but because their opponent has owned the game longer. New players will especially be discouraged from WvW.

It mostly shows that nobody takes his time to do some simple math. Get the data from the official wiki and let’s calc:

Neck: Ascended has 126 points on main stat, 85 points on secondary stats (x2), 5 points from infusion (can be: power, precision, cond damage for offensive and vit, toughness or heal for defensive or 0 for utility slots) – Exotic has 115 on main stat, 79 on secondary stats (x2)

Ring: (asc) 103/68 + 5 vs (exo) 92/63

Accessory: (asc) 91/60 + 5 vs (exo) 81/55

Back: (asc) 56/35 + 5 vs (exo) 43/31

2h weapon: (asc. ) 188 main stat, 134 secondary stats, +10 from 2 infusion slots and 49-55 damage vs (exo. ) 179/128

The difference breakdown is:

  • 11 points on main stat, 6 point for each secondary stat (neck)
  • 11 points on main stat, 5 point for each secondary stat (each ring)
  • 10 points on main stat, 5 points for each secondary stat (each accessory)
  • 13 points on main stat, 4 poins for each secondary stat (back)
  • 9 points on main stat, 6 points for each secondary stat (2h weapon)
  • 40 points from infusions
  • 49-55 weapon damage

Total: +75 main stat, +36 for each secondary stat, +40 points from infusions, 49-55 weapon damage

If I didn’t fail miserably on my math, that’s pretty much the difference that you have if you play against someone using a lv 80 food and you don’t have any on you, and I wouldn’t call it game breaking.

Just lol, if you wanna do math do it right, you Forgot wvw ability and sigil stack.
Trust me all those thing are game breaking, and what if Anet adds more tiers ? you will still be happy with -30% stats ?
Using or not food can change the outcome of a battle ( not Always ), I use +100 healing +70 hp and +6% of power from toughness and +4% from hp, penuts right ?

Some are forgetting that a fair match is far more apretiated than any shiny Rainbow equipe, to them I’ll just say : Try not to blob up and use your personal skill roaming in small/medium groups, you will see that we already have too many balance problems, go add all those buffs and the deadly kittentail is served.

They already said when the sruff was released that infusions would be the upgrades to ascended gear no more gear tiers just infusion tiers.

Regarding Bloodlust, I believe that two nodes should have been put near the skill points in the corners instead.

Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.

How about ask Anet for some sort of dedicated GvG arena….. like sPvP ??

The day Anet decide to introduce GvG area in GW2, WvW will die immediately. That’s why we havent’ seen any news about GvG, cause they are not planning to implement it any time soon.

you can get rid of 25 stacks of bloodlust or guard leach or applied fortitude when the person is downed.

you can not get rid of Bloodlust from the 5 cap points.

In my current matchup the whole world is blue(I am green) so we are not just fighting a zerg much much bigger but also have all 3 stacks the entire time and who know what other buffs.
It might work out in the gold league, but in blowout matches it just makes things worse.

Sounds like you are kittened with or without the buffs.

All of these things are fine and available to all players.

Well they are not very good(plenty of pve players) so without the buffs you are able to take some of the zerg down.
