Guess I have no choice but to farm these guys to keep the orb safe. Fix this Anet, or else!!!!.

Report it as “other” in game attach a screen shot, they fixed one earlier in like 10 minutes after the info was sent.

Hopefully it’s fixed fast. Had to have guildies continually switching off "Orb guard duty", while the rest of us secured the north in the borderlands. Kinda sad isn’t it?

The one on GoM Hills did that 2 nights ago too… I was so afraid to leave there…

I don’t recall the guards attacking the altar either, only each other. Not sure if they do, but yeah, not a fun bug.

I’m not sure if they were attacking the altar – but someone held onto the orb anyway just in case – but it’s not very comforting…

I’m at it right now, they keep killing the altar and we have to repair it and place it back in the altar.

Well, that sucks, don’t know of anything you can really do aside from reporting it, and that is reliant on if anyone actually looks at the report after it is sent in. Really needs to be addressed.

They will attack the alter as well….Sooooo annoying. It is happening very often now on our server. Probably half of them are bugged at some point during the day.

This also leads to many servers claiming (Hacks, Glitched etc) against the servers they are playing against.

ANET really does need to put attention on this issue, just in my play time this week there have been 3 orbs either lost or we had no where to place them due to this issue.

Hakato- Yeah and if you do not repair in time and the alter gets destroyed…you cant repair it.

Only way to fix it is to let the other team take it, and then try to recapture the keep later.

They not only attack the alter, they attack defenders and siege weapons deployed nearby. We regularly use a configuration of arrow carts and ballistas in Inner East Keep that makes it very hard to directly assault but over the past few days, we have had the alter break with the orb inside it (cannot pick it up and place it back on the alter). We have fallen back to inner east keep multiple times only to find that most of the siege weapons have been destroyed by the Veteran Orb Protector.

For the record, you can repair the altar. You just have to be carrying supply then spam F next to it. It works believe me.
