I’m not a programmer, so I’m not sure how feasible this might be. But a lot of those individual WvW achievements can they be broken down statistically per guild? Then have then link to stuff in Gh like increased Aetherium production, better node harvests, or decrase item costs? Or even, instead of drinking a jug from the bartender of the GH, the more WvW completion the higher the % on bonuses from drinking like the map bonus, node farming bonus, xp bonus from the bartender etc.
Instead of like WvW daily/missions turn them into a weekly matchup thing for guilds to reach and acquire? Then have the stats post on some leaderboard ticking in GH/map spawns.
Some stats to consider:
1) Kills-PPK (isn’t this why we wvw?)
2) Deaths-negative effect (to deter manipulating kills by getting friend guilds to kill over and over)
3) Tower captures
4) Camp captures
5) yak slapping
6) Tower holds and claims—holding the claim for like 15mins or whatever gets a reward. Claim needs to be refreshed hourly or else another guild can claim.
7) Keep holds and claims- similar to towers
8) Camp claims- similar above
9) SMC- the motherload claim- same as above
10) Insert other ideas here.
Overall, we’d probably want around like 10-15 metrics only for a “guild to achieve.” There would be cons to consider such as size of guilds and exploits. say X player switching guild tags so they don’t lose deaths. perhaps set it where you have to have that tag for 1hr in wvw.
We’d have to set what Anet believes an ideal guild size should be to achieve some of these metrics. 5, 10, 15, 25, 50? There are many things to consider, but I believe alot of WvW guilds prowess is to measure their performance in the field and other guilds, not the server’s performance. We want to know how many things we took, held, people we killed. The current PPK, we can only gauge how we move it up and down, but to have a guild hall scoreboard for these metrics would be great. At the end of the week you can post like the top 3-5 guilds somewhere that achieved A, B, C metric.
The server system can still be maintained as it is and linking, just needs more volatility to move up and down as we can now see the top guilds achieving such things. I’d figure many guilds would want a shot at dethroning those rankings.
All the metrics should have a baseline easy mode to attain for the pvx guilds. But after a certain threshold there should be a substantial increase. Example: PPK: 100 kills, 250 kills, 500 kills, 1000 kills, 2000 kills. Deaths shouldn’t be a negative effect as 1:1 with kills. Let’s be honest, most guilds probably won’t be able to hold a 1.0 kdr, let’s say -0.1 per death. If you die 10 times for every kill, that should encourage someone to figure out how to git gud.

I don’t see a problem with the scoreboard aspect. But the stats look like cumulative things where size is the biggest factor. So more of a mechanical advantage for large guilds over smaller guilds shouldn’t be added by giving awards for score.
It definitely would be geared to mid to large guilds I presume. but they can have it capped out at lower numbers for achieveys. while the score just keeps ticking for the larger guilds to see who’s on top. by larger, I’d say guilds that raid around 15-20. It shouldn’t be a 2hr thing to achieve all the metrics, should be a few days of WvW.
Not to mention wvw is a matter of large scale combat. even with a 5man roaming, i don’t think 100 kills is not achievable over a week, 25 camp captures, 10 tower captures. I’d say that’s on the low end.
