This was an unannounced change…nerf imo…We can no longer access banks via this npc.

really sucks too, especially for WvW guilds who share siege via the guild bank :/

Hope they will add Guild Bank back at spawns (personal bank wont be bad idea either)…

And even that wp in LA nearest to guild bank is contested all the time for some reason…

Just came on the boards to post about this, wtf Anet???? This was a very useful feature!

Unless you have highly upgraded keeps, guild banks are now only accessible in the major cities and a few more places in Tyria. This is a really inconvenient change, even more so now that the guild vault is globalized across all servers for multi-server guilds. :-(

nope, didnt think so.

You have to take into account the servers without the coverage or manpower to defend them in a multitude of scenarios unlike, that t3 server you transferred to buddy .

P.S. Bring everyone back to FC.

Any Anet person care to explain the reason for the change and the fact it wasn’t in the patch notes?

I don’t think this belongs in wvw subforum but w/e. I wonder if it has anything to do with the rumored upcoming free trail to stop gold seller.

If anything, we need more guild bank access rather than less.

not having coverage != there is no motivation to defend

ill come back someday
but for now, a whole bunch of the old fc crew is here along with parts of several other bronze servers… i already knew 1/2 the people in the community when i first moved. if we implode like SoR or mags or whoever ill prolly go back to fc, but with global guilds anet has also taken away that motivation cuz now im not annoyed every time i do guild missions.

I’m assuming this was a part of consolidating the Guild Banks across servers. This appears to be a removal of an extremely useful feature, instead of a bug. Because the option isn’t even there to attempt to click on.

Here’s where someone’s going to have to say this is about gem sales. No guild or personal bank access means we’ll have to use a crud ton of Bank Access Expresses now.

Going to a city in the middle of a wvw raid is not a sensible option especially if there are queues.
Please, bring back an always accessible guild bank for every wvw map please.

That is exactly what [Nors] and a multitude of other WvWvW guilds used it for as well. Please change it back Anet. It was perfect the way it was, and was not causing hinderance to anyone.
