Guild groups running together are just looking for some fun and organised group work, it’s fair to ask local randoms to either rally on commander or to join the guild (we got a small roster of 60 people now!).
Some people you just can’t help though, you let them tag along, spam the TS channel you’re in, they refuse to join then cry and call you bad on team chat and a bunch of other insults because they didn’t hear in TS about not chasing 1 thief to get killed…
So many randoms don’t understand fields and finishers regardless of telling them not to use any, so many times I have been in this situation dropping waterfields for rammers and having it over rided by a fire field :/
We always rez local friends though and chase off gankers, but if they die again within 10s we kinda just leave them and get back to our task (unless they have been focused by 3 thieves or something similar)
Hell, sometimes we be roaming in a group of 5 and a random that finds us, actually tags up and stalks us and tells us what to do ahaha, most days we don’t mind this, they are usually our PvE heroes that we can easily recruit and train for WvW.
Guild groups running together always do more than what everyone thinks, you might not know about it due to the fact that they have no tag and not shouting in map chat everything they do, but they do accomplish alot… Even the 5 man party guild raids can accomplish so much, example: When my guild 5 man roams, we take pang, supply up, get on hill at OW and ballista down all the towers siege then let the commander know.. (usually get raged at for “NOT BEING ON ME”, but some commanders are like that I guess)
Also after a year of WvW, I’m sure there are a lot of guilds who only log on to the game for their guildies and the raids they have together
I mostly play for the new Free-For-All arena in PvP lobby.
