Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but i would like to propose GvGFC to become a trend.

What is it?
Its basically a 1 v 1 duel contest between guilds (could start with 15 vs 15 or sorts), where loser gets eliminated and winner gets to stay and fight for another round. The winning guild is determined by which guild that has any members left from the fight.

Whats so interesting about it?
Well, its just to spice things up really, unlike normal 1 v 1, there’s also a tactics/strategy involved within guildies eg. in choosing which duelist to fight against certain opponent (some might think warrior is better against necro. etc etc).

Why do it in WvW environment, not spvp?
Same reason why we do GvG in wvw, there’s more flexibility in mixing up gears, foods, etc.

So, what do you guys think?

In many servers this has been a trend for almost a year. In Maguuma, we always try to get other players to duel. Fight clubs are too fun.

theres not much point in this because the best duelists out there are the best not because of op builds (for the most part) , but because they are good at playing their class.

what you’ll have is 1 really good player clean sweeping the other guild.

if it’s kept to the EB JP, then I don’t care either way.

basically that already exist and have existed for months and we have 2 top guilds atm SCND and VII.

1 good thief wins all or gets countered by other thief and the fight lasts till the first one falls asleep on his keyboard.

Immagine a perma stealth vs perma stealth, or regen ranger vs stunlock warrior, or ele healer vs guardian supporter, or even those shuffled, are you prepared to fight for 24h ?
Gw2 is not balanced, 1vs1 more than anything else.
