GvG and EotM
The only open field area is north of needle, which has the randomly respawning autocannons of doom.
I believe other guilds have done GvGs in this area as well

They were lucky that noone added… probably the funniest thing could be a reserved overflow in EotM where only guilds can join if they sign up.
I don’t want to stop karmatrains, just let use the same map for other things thanks to overflow. It shouldn’t be so hard to manage.
OS is a nice arena for GvGs. They should make it like PvP “servers” and allow any guild from any server to port into an instance so remove the concept of GvGing from being tied into WvW/tier. Then any guild could GvG any other guild. Either that or make multiple instances available through some sort of drop-down like in GW1.
All these would be band-aid fixes to support a player-created GvG mini-game anyway. They should support it properly and create leaderboards with proper GvG matchups using Guild Halls etc. and variable group size brackets anyway. It’s long overdue. It’s a crime that this wasn’t in the game since launch, considering the game’s name and considering the GvG PvP was the jewel in the crown of the PvP scene which made the original popular.

The problem is they don’t want GvG in this game. That is it.
They are going to add it in a critical situation. Is like WvW balance CDI thread, they open one after more a year of community’s complain because the amount of people leaving this game or stopped playing WvW.
