May i know whether Hammer Warrior or Hammer Guardian is more useful in WvW? Mainly focusing the topic on Hammer skills of both classes.

Both are good. Warrior hammer offers up a bit more CC. Guardian hammer has some nice CC and group support via self-combo fielding area retaliation.

i can’t speak for warriors too much but i do enjoy the hammer on the Guardian immensely. apart from what Oozo mentioned, the straight line immobilize is good for chasing fleeing enemies. #4 is just pure fun and i’ve many a time saved allies from getting stomped by knocking someone away. #5 is pretty useful too for area denial, holding a chokepoint, ensuring you can revie an ally or get a stomp as well. call me evil, but i love watching enemies topple over and over again using #5 with #4, etc etc.

the hammer is a lot of fun with the Guardian’s utility Judge’s Intervention as well.

both are loads of fun.
The Guardian hammer is more fun tho. That knockback gotta be one of the most fun skills Guardian has to offer.

Both run together in a squad is the bane of many would be zergs.

Doesn’t matter as long as you have a hammer equipped! Hammers all the way.

I run hammer/axe+horn warrior on my main, and I can tell you it’s pretty effective because it has decent burst and you can also lockdown someone for a long time… but… I can also tell you there is nothing funnier than using Banish to knock someone off a cliff.

You really can’t go wrong with a hammer :O
