There isn’t much gear difference in stats from green to orange, I run around in green and know that some wear orange but I just consider those my more challenging fights. One day maybe I will go orange too.

If it weren’t for runes being the prices they are, it would be cheaper for me to just buy my gear when it breaks versus repairing it. If you want to play without runes, that could be a viable playstyle.

I think it has nothing to do with the Orbs, but with the fact that rankings are balancing out, slowly. Free transfers are still annoying, causing outliers, but the huge masses of nomads seem to be settling a bit.

Honestly, I didn’t really feel too much of a difference when 1v1-ing with or against orb buffs.

You folks posting teams, are you fighting the same teams you were previously?

Nah, the orbs being disabled have actually helped us (ET) control our parts of the map and fight off the massive zergs. It has definitely helped and appreciated those that are still fighting for ET after most of the community left for EU servers.

The scores are low due to low population level (not enough to take back everything, so we focus on what we can actually take and hold).

Kratic, I hear ya. I’m on ET and my guild [TAC] Tactical Terror is in WvW every night. We are staying on ET, no point in moving. The battles are still fun, epic at times. Great players with heart.

wv3 is also turning into a casual format like anet wanted i think this i s having more of an impact than the orb snowball effect
