Guild Wars 2

Hi I just bought the game and am really interested in wvwvw but would am confused on how the world are matched against each other , is it the servers with the highest 3 scores are matched against each other and so forth? and if so where can you find these rankings of the worlds ( servers)

It used to be based on rating (and still is a bit), but a couple weeks back they changed it so that matchups were randomized.
