1)Change unmanned from outnumbered 3 to1 to 1.1 to 1.
2)Outnumbered side should be able to carry more supplies or build siege using less supplies
This should be scaled with respect to total number of people in the zone.
3)Allow siege weapon to be built inside spawn area so that spawn camping could be stopped
4)Guards strength should be scaled with number of enemies
I feel for you. I was on ET for a while back when SF was a monster. There was several times when we could not even hold a tower due to lack of players. It gets like that on my new server when the matchup is really bad say a strong tier 4 or 5 server against a tier 7 like mine, but mainly during the non peak hours. Most of the time my server hold its own well. You might want to change to a middle tier server. I know that sucks and server loyalty issues come into the picture. But if you are a serious WvW player and spend most of your time there then it is probably best for you. A-net really don’t have a fix coming for the population disparities in the foreseeable future. It might change some when the Leagues come out. But even with the leagues there will be blow-outs till it is fixed.

I’m all for this. However, if I am on the side with more people, I would like to be somehow informed of how strong the guards are so that I can know if I can take on X number of guards by myself or not.
Also, scaling it in favor of the outnumbered people would hurt the people on that team who are solo/small-group roaming instead of zerging.
The blowouts if your near the bottom of the ladder now will only get worse, and more frequent. Which in turn will drive more players out of WvW in the bottom of the ladder.
Devs, come play on any tier 18 or lower world for a week in EB and tell me you ‘enjoyed’ the the experience, then imagine it when the worlds are 12 tiers above you instead of 6.
i wouldn’t mind if they would show some numbers on how outmanned you are. Are you outmanned 2 to 1 or 3 4 or what. And perhaps change the RI buff on campss, if you are winning by 100k 150k points your server gets no buff when capturing a camp while the camps captured by losing servers have it perhaps extended to 6 7 8 mins
I did some estimation.
To overpwd or swarm a lower pop server, the higher pop server just need 1.3 times the number. Not much really.
The reason is because it is harder to defend than attacking.
1)Guards is a joke.
2)With enough number attacker can AOE the whole wall.
3)Anyone get pulled down by attacker has almost zero chance for res, while any attacker killed can be res up easily.
4)Catapult can be built outside the range of most defenses and take down wall easily
It is small wonder that most successful defense happen after the walls or gate is destroyed. Good luck defending if you are outnumbered.
In present situation , the map looked ok because taking keep give way better reward than defending it. This result in keep exchange.
I have no idea how the ranking in this Leagues is based on. If it is based on total score, it will killed the lower rank server .
