Problem: No matter how good the match-up system sometimes a server will just be “skunked”. In those cases where servers fall significantly behind alot of people quit playing making the problem even worse. This can make it no fun to play for alot of people.

Solution:

1. Server upgrade discount based on point differential. 50% of leader = 75% discount. Discount doesn’t kick in until a 15% score differential. It would be handled in increments of 25%. So possible discounts include 25%, 50%, and 75% with 75% being the max.

2. Losing servers more than 30% points down spawn a special siege merchant in their spawn. This siege merchant sells siege at a 50% discount with one big catch. The siege expires in 1 day. That way you can only use the siege in that match-up.

In Closing: This would make it a little easier for losing realms to take ground and then hold the ground they have taken and help compensate them for their higher repair bills. Little things like this help keep people doing WvW and fighting instead of hanging up the towel and going home.

Important note: This will nt change the results of any match-ups. The same servers will still lose and win as they should. But it’ll make losing badly a bit more fun until match making sorts things out properly and free transfers are over.
