Maybe we can swap? You can have some of our JQ and in return we get some SoR. Just make sure the SoR you send are looking for a challenge, are glory hungry, and won’t jump ship when they individually can’t carry a whole server. We already sent our part of the deal so your move. If you’re not interested then whatever you can keep what we sent, we don’t want em’ back.
Some left on their own will. So it’s their choice. The more people join one server, the more people will realize they are waiting in long lines for a solid color map and no challenge. I’m sure then some will look elsewhere.

SOR has no control of guilds moving there. They can’t turn them away, so the only option is to embrace them.
The PR department and their IR department are ran independently. PR says “no more guilds, we want fair fights.” IR says “welcome, welcome, let’s outblob the competition.” IR job is to retain top status to keep investors aka community happy.
I’m not so much bitter, but baffled and frustrated at the lack of loyalty. I’ve been around since launch and have seen the guilds come and go, this shouldn’t be a surprise to me, but am particularly kitten because they (reputable, skilled, influential, players/guilds) chose the team with absolutely no challenge. JQ has had ups and downs and we’ve been in the down for a while now, but it has been so much fun trying to compete. I’m fine with dropping down a tier, it’ll be nice to have some fresh fights, but I would have liked to still be fighting SoR & Bg. Still don’t understand why some of our quality wvw’ers would want to be on ez mode.
Rumors are some of the JQ guilds created drama with Waha? If true, it’s sad to see. Waha was a big reason JQ dominated for as long as they did back in the day. It’s unfortunate the guilds couldn’t set aside their egos and work something out.

Hmmm…Ancient history but it seemed like I remember some JQ spies that sowed discord to SOS and soon after we had an exodus of guilds. Not feeling sorry for JQ at all. But on the positive side I have like the lower tiers so much better than T1.
Nah. Truth is that SoS did not get along with each other. It first started with a guild (name with-held) left for Europe. Then you got a guild who scares a well known guild down to Kaineng. SoS at that time who had a commander (mostly in EB) who always gets banned for obscene language. Then you got cussing matches internally with other guilds which ticked off some more guilds. I was on SoS and enjoyed the ride from lower tiers all the way to dominating T1 for months… The community at SoS in general was awesome, but after some of the major guilds left for greener pastures, I left before free Xfer was over.
I can’t really blame anyone wanting to leave JQ. I’ve been fighting against JQ for weeks now in Eternal Battlegrounds and their over all tactic and plan seems to be basically pile on to whomever is losing the SOR/BG tug of war at the moment. That’s basically aiming for second place which has only ever netted them last place as a result.
I wish the remainders of JQ best of luck and hope they can organize the groups left towards winning.
