Right now, miniatures have a green dot on the minimap as if they are players, which can easily lead to confusion. With the upcoming changes to the way miniatures function, they are likely to become much more commonly used.
Please change miniatures to not appear on the minimap in WvW.

Yeah… I’ve actually entered a few 1v2 fights thinking another player had my back, just to realize it was a kitten.
PS That’s not the censor acting up, it was actually a kitten.

That or allow people to kill the miniature which removes it from the enemies’ collection. Just saying.

I’ve heard tales of Thieves being tracked while they were in stealth too, because they had miniatures out and the miniatures dutifully followed their masters everywhere they went. (The miniatures were NOT stealthed.)
Lol seen this happen a few times and not only in gw2, pets/minis giving away the location of them stealthies. Its like hiding with a big neon sign above their head HERE AM I !
