I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I think it needs looking into.
Currently the defenders are fighting 2vs1 in home territory, they have no advantage over the enemy forces but still have to fight 2vs1, this in your HOME land seems not only illogical but easymode for attackers.
Usually one Invading team attacks bay and the other hills, one of those bases gets lost as the defenders can’t beat them back 2vs1
Home borderlands should be easier to defend than to attack, defending should always give you a benefit over invading.
One possible would be to give defenders a bonus in their home land, such as stats/swiftness or allowing more players on to the map in there home borderland 25 – 50% cap more per defending team to allow them to at least slow down both teams at once.
I would also suggest giving defenders a bonus to supply, such as supply coming from the main base or from the top supply camp at triple the normal rate.
Possibly make walls and gates reinforced on reset too to prevent instant capping before everyone is logged in.
The map is also designed so both teams go north instead of crossing each others paths, so invaders usually ignore each other. It might make more sense to remove the towers at the bottom of the map and put one neutral tower in between both invaders areas in the ruins so they have to fight over the first foothold.
