So lately I decided to level up another character and because I run out of tomes of knowledge I went to the edge of the mists to start doing my way up to 80 tomes.

When the etom loaded I was in the red team (badlands) ! Now because of the fact that I was away for a few days I noticed that when I stop joining etom maps I always start with badlands and I don’t know why but badlands are always outnumbered and blue sometimes are the most OP.

Now I don’t know how the etom system works because sometimes I am with red and the next week I might be with blue or green but how does that work? Is it randomly ?

Please if you know anything I would like to know !!! Because I found it kind of unbalanced to have the red team outnumbered and I would not say that the commander does the work in one team because if you have the commander and you don’t have the amount of people then you are doing nothing !

the color on Mist War of your server determines the color you will be on EoTM

Isn’t that pointless?? I mean have thing balanced so everyone will now that when they logged in will have a great time playing !!

It has to do anything about server in that you are in WvW or.. etom its just another “mega server” with overflows ??

its a mega server with overflow but the color disposition is based on the color of the server
winners will be paired with winners
losers will be paired up with losers

if you like EoTm then you’ll love the proposals about merging all servers into 3 factions/alliances/globes………lel

I’ll tell you a story, once upon a time a game flourished with population of happy players, then after some time, players started diminishing one by one, one player foresaw what is about to happen and took a stand and told the GMs (GameMasters) what is needed to be done, the game director ignored the call and made a decision to cut the servers/channels by 1/3 to save bandwidth and allow players to find people to play with as they say, two months later the game died, and they live happily ever after on a different game the end.

Its a pointless area. A failed ANET experiment that took them ages to make and should have been removed a long time ago.

I think us WvWers should invade EoTM for a week, complete with siege defense.

It would be mildly amusing.

Perhaps Christmas Day? (Then make it an annual event?)

Look we have done that several times. It’s hard to play while you are laughing on the floor.

Ktrain is Anet definition of gtreat time playing.
IF players dont fight game is balanced no one complains about class balance.

Naw, this would be a once a year thing. A new tradition. Most WvWers cannot stomach EoTM — but if we all collectively went on one day a year, it might prove memorable — and fun.

Well we can get server reps from each server and have them do the marketing/broadcasting to WvW folks. Key is getting the word out and getting folks on board. I’m gathering you’d volunteer for Gunnars?

Main goal in EotM nowadays is try to make enemy bored.

@Jayne, ya sure but doubt people would take me serious lol.

EToM is actually a brilliant map design. It’s much better than Desert bl in terms of usage of space, it’s beautiful, and has interesting mechanics. It could have been the best map for roaming.

The problem with it is how it was implemented.
It should have been added on the regular maps above EBG.
Having a score impact on the rest of WvW would definitely help.

Now the game has a linking system for WvW, and another linking system for EotM. Shows the lack of vision…
