How Long Should Polls be Managed?
Should ANet release a better Poll Results to better explain who is making these decisions that Decide the Future of WvW?

Unlike the other polls, they sent mail to every wvw player with at least 10 ranks that leveled up a rank this week (active player). So yes 5 days is just fine, I know you’re one of those who voted no, but leaving it up for another 7 or so days wasn’t going to change the outcome. 82% voted yes, not 25, not 50, 82%.
They have the internal numbers on the votes, it was mentioned by one of the devs, they know who voted which way per server.
You might as well call for a recount instead of trying to come up with excuses why the numbers are wrong.

Not looking for any excuse, or asking for any recount.
To do that would be a slap to the Majority WvW Community’s judgement.
My viewpoint on the World Link Poll is this:
Some decisions should morally be made by the “Guardian” of…in this case…an Addict of WvW.
ANet is this “Guardian”…imho
You can’t very well expect to ask a WvW Addict how much Zergfest they want…and not expect them to vote NO to an opportunity to overdose.
I feel that ANet neglected their “Fiduciary Duty” to make a decision to protect the Long Term Ecosystem of WvW as a whole.
Actually they completely Abandoned their Posted Guard & left the minority un-protected…imho
The same minority community that…nurtured future WvW players that could migrate up to feed the Top Tiers with fresh troops…imho
My viewpoint on the General Guidelines for Polls actually support how State or City protocols do it.
I’ll have to eat my own crow’s pie on this…
But Voting “Could” be done in 1 day…because that’s how it’s being done now…if the necessary steps are done correctly.
We all knew the World Link Beta was being done, but didn’t know exactly when the Polling would take place….or if one was going to happen….we all thought…ANet is just testing this.
So it came as a surprise to perhaps many of the “Ignorant” who do not participate in the WvW forum.
Even so…this was a Poll that I feel that should not have been asked…due to my feelings that it is ANet’s Fiduciary Duty to protect the Long Term Ecosystem of WvW as a whole.
Or, this Poll question is posing a higher moral question for the whole community that really deserves more time to argue points properly.
