The Tiny Yuno Sniper of Ebay [EBAY]

Wanted to know the thought and selection process for wvsw updates.
Curious how you come up with the ideas for wvsw changes. And how you decide which ones to implement.
And also curious what some of the underlying reasons for doing things the way you do are. I mean there has to be a couple themes that govern most of the changes. Curious what those are. Or if you have a specific example, please elaborate on it as a baseline.
I mean some dev teams would do a trial and error type thing. Where they introduce new promising ideas, and retract them upon data completion if their removal is desired. You guys don’t seem to really do that, at least not in a timely fashion (ex: guild upgrades, dbl, etc). I’m curious why the new additions have to be ‘set in stone’ and not ‘removable’ even after they underperform.

I honestly think they don’t really have a plan or discussion pertaining to wvw.
It’s been more of a reactionary mentality with them. Just like any work place, a safety hazard comes up and managers scramble to suddenly provide training and certifications when employees from years ago brought it up.
Same as the mmo world, they conveniently forget that wvw players were bringing up core issues years ago with good input and ideas. When it becomes a major issue threatening PR as in the wooden potatoes vid that came up a few months ago calling anet out on wvw topics or player decline is being reported, they go into reactionary mode. A common trait of poor management and unorganized work plans.
Can’t continue to operate like that for long.
