Guild Wars 2

I’m curious how the colors of each server in WvWvW is chosen. I play on Far Shiverpeaks, and we keep swapping between blue and red, while Vizunah Square, who we face every day, always stay green. Does the team who win always stay the same color?

The reason I’m asking is I’m 99% on world completion, only missing 2 vistas and 2 POI’s in green bases (Dreaming Bay and the big keep in EB). This is getting extremely frustrating, because at the moment we keep losing about 100k to 25k every day, and capping a fully upgraded keep with two gates with no organized team is next to impossible (we don’t seem to have any organized WvWvW guilds at all on FS). Now I don’t want this to be another “Vizunah Square are outmanning us 24/7 and its unbalanced” thread, but I’m wondering if this is intended. Right now, on the server I am, 100% map completion is “impossible” because the colors don’t switch around.

Will this change when the weekly matches start tomorrow?

Or let me know if there are any workarounds that I’m missing. I really want my star.

From what I have seen is it is entirely random. You have been quite unfortunate but there is a workaround.

Move to the other server (free at the moment), play WvW, get the POI’s and then transfer back.

Be prepared for a queue though, as most servers who do well in WvW are quite popular.
