This queue-thing is still bugged or something, because sometimes I get in WvW within 3 minutes while others have been in the queue for 30 minutes.

Right now: I’ve been in the queue for over 2 hours, while others get in within 10 or 20 minutes. Some other people I know have the same problem sometimes, but one just got in (also after 2 hours).

I queue earlier than guildies, but they get in sooner.

I can’t find any good explanation by ArenaNet.

Seriously, how does this work? Is it bugged or are some unknown priorities.

there is a bug. We have a rule of thumb, during normal times if you queue longer than 10-15 minutes re-queue. Whenever someone else gets in shorter q time than you same thing.

The way it was explained to me the bug continues to just put you at the end of the queue over and over when you get it. Re-queue is work around for it.

I’ve requeued after 30 minutes since I’m in the queue thogh

queue has been screwed up since day 1, always requeue every 10-15min if your finding its taking too long.

I dont know why its messed up all its know is insted of waiting in a line like a queue should be, your pretty much picked at random

It would be nice of anet even acknowledged this, or even mention a fix for it. Sadly we can only wait

Our internal tests show that it’s not a FIFO queue structure. It works more like a lottery. The sweet spot appears to be that if you are in queue for more than 15 minutes, you might as well re-queue and get a new lottery ticket.

Partying does appear to have an effect on the queue as well. Even if you group up after you queue.

We had six people in our group a week back, and the queue popped for all of us at the same time.
2 had been waiting 45+ minutes
2 had been waiting 15-20
1 had just entered the queue moments prior.

tldr; having 200 people queuing for WvW at the same time makes for awesome statistical analysis.

I don’t understand how that makes sense (I get the party thing, but other than that…?)

But oh well… Gotta work what you got =/
