Guild Wars 2

Hello!

I started playing GW2 at launch – loved the PvE and WvW at first, but it quickly became stale. I am mostly interested in WvW but all it ending up being was a huge zerg of player vs. door. Literally running from door to door non-stop – there was no substance.

The idea of WvW was very exciting, but the execution was terrible.

I just wanted to know if anything has gotten better over these past few years?

Well, technically speaking, it no longer is a huge zerg of players….

Anyone have some info they could chime in with? I am interested in coming back, but if it’s the same as always it would be very disappointing

You really should peruse some of the threads on the forum. Its not in a good place, the new desert BL is almost universally disliked, so much so that the WvW population has declined since HOT was released to the extent that no NA servers are full, they have all slipped to very high status as of today which is probably when the server cap calculation only includes data since HOT was released a month ago.

For comparative purposes the top 5 or so NA servers have all been full for the last several months leading up to HOT.

Good news, wvw has lost a lot of population over the years and especially in the last month, now it’s harder to find zergs!
All servers are now open and looking for players!
