How is WvW on the following?
Probably just as zergy. Coverage is what really defines your tier.
Try for a European server if you want smaller scale battles. European servers generally have better coordination and organization if you are into that kind of stuff.
Devonas Rest 4 lyfe
“Play on a Euro server” is bad advice for people in North America. The lag is not going to be helpful. If you want small fights in NA, just go to a lower tier.
I don’t know that I’d drop straight to tier 8 though. Tier 5 can still bring a pretty mean zerg but I can also often run around alone or with a small group and accomplish a thing or two. Maybe try tier 6 or 7.
A game that’s 100% WvW

Gate of Madness
Eredon Terrace
Fergusons crossing? And I guess the general server population of these ones. I am currently on Dragon Brand and finding smaller battles is becoming harder and harder so was wondering what it is like for other servers.
Gates of Madness: Population varies wildly depending on PvE events (darn Super Adventure Box!). Good oceanic crew. Decent-sized pug zergs, but most of the server’s focus is on coordinated small groups working on multiple targets across several maps at the same time.
Eredon Terrace: Population seems quite large for their Tier. They’ve got a few larger guilds (formerly from upper tiers) that are quite skilled at running a proper zergball and can flip a whole fortified map pretty quickly.
Ferguson’s Crossing: Somewhat lacking an identity at this point, in my opinion. They seem to learn very quickly and use a hybrid system of what’s being used against them. Pretty decent zergball strats and a few surprisingly good small man groups.
All three servers would be a good home to anyone considering a move. Trash talk is very minimal (see our match-up threads) and none of these servers go down without a hell of a fight. Also, there’s a wider array of effective strategies in lower population match-ups than in the upper tiers, so be prepared for tons of trickery and misdirection.
Bandito sshhh, you’ve seen what transfers have done in the past, they just mess things up.
Now if you’re a single transfer or new player, come on down.
Timelord to Lillium Honeybuns, IoJ
Forever together, or not at all.

You’re right. Everyone should transfer to Maguuma instead. I hear they LOVE transfers!
Thanks gang,
I appreciate the feed back and the help. It would not be a single transfer although a small guild. Really to small to make a difference either way. We have been on DB since launch and thought a change me be fun.
And FC is the best of the three! I promise I am not biased.

This is pretty accurate. Small guilds can flourish in lower tiers just due to the lack of numbers on the battle field. The main issue in T8 is overall population, having an extra 20 people on any map makes a huge difference where in upper tiers it doesn’t. It’s really all about how/when you play.
In regards to ET, our population is decent, we have a lot of small guilds that work together to protect home BL/EB and they do a kitten good job of it. There is a LOT of potential on ET and if you wish to talk about how you’d fit in, feel free to PM me.
My fun laughs at your server pride.
Tier 7 is 100% zergs. IF you don’t find a group of 3, you find 10 -40 only. It is brutal.
My next question is what tier do you guys know of having serious competitive small man guilds that use alot of coordination and team work in fights? And I dont mean with keep/tower takes i mean player vs player fights?

Are you talking about GvG? As far as I know there is very little gvg action in NA WvW, I’ve heard EU WvW is where that is more popular.

GoM: endless armies
FC=ET: last week FC was 2nd, and the last ET was 2nd.
Any server can take from the others anything they want.
