I bought the game a few weeks ago and only got to level 4 or something on Black Anvil. Last night I found out my friend has a high level character on Tarnished Coast, so I switched to that server, but now all I can do is Edge of the Mist, for an unspecified amount of time. I understand why they have this system in place, even though I think its a bit stupid to ban me when I only had a level 4 character in the first place, but I’m just wondering how long I’m going to have to be out. Thanks much!

I think that if u delete your character and create a new one on TC, you’ll be able to get in WvW.

No, I deleted my character on Black Anvil before I moved servers, because it cost money otherwise.

I don’t agree with this rule because we pay a lot of money to change for one and nobody should have to be stuck in a server that has given up on WvW…When a server gives up Anet can not expect a small number of people to go up against a server that is more into WvW with much lager numbers..Anyway Just the fact that it cost so much should give the buyer the right to go wherever they want.Only in an MMO do people pay good money to be told they can’t play….What a joke..

Not just spying, but stealing siege and not operating it, throw useless sieges around also harm the other server.

exactly, some people take WvW very seriously, RoF has already had to deal with hackers from FSP and now saboteurs from FR, so imagine how many there would be if this rule wasnt in place

Trying to force people to stay on a bad server will not result in players staying and helping it will only cause people to resent WvW and not help the community .There is no spies, only people who do not want to take orders from a few bad players who buy a tag then think that gives them the right to rage at others..That is where you are getting people that Sabotage, it’s not spies from other servers..Don’t blame the good servers if yours is just plain bad, put the blame where it belongs, if people do not want to follow or help there is a good reason for that..They do not like those who are controlling and commanding, commanding is not about just barking orders , if you can’t keep people’s trust then just realize you are not meant to be in command and let someone who can get people to follow take over..Again My money and I will never agree that this is a good rule no matter how many reasons are given, If we pay 30+ dollars real money then we should be able to play what ever part of the game we want.

Nope! no sarcasm just plain blunt truth, Anet forcing people to stay where they do not want to stay makes people go against the server..You can call them spies if you want I guess , but that still is not an excuse for someones inability to lead…If someone is good at it they will have no problems keeping people interested in following them..If someone is bad at it and is constantly raging then they have nobody but themselves to blame when people turn against them…

LOL …yeah $24.99 for a new game and new slots is way better than a crappy 20+ transfer.

Then I can watch the movements of commanders etc on both sides.

Good servers have no reason to spy on Bad/low pop servers , Reason being is that they do not suck so people are drawn to them and want to play…If you want people to play with you then don’t suck…The end…
