He’s wearing heavy nightmare armor from the Twilight Arbor dungeon, the reason that he looks so metallic is the effect of the legendary hammer “juggernaut”. Obviously he is not holding the juggernaut in that pic, but i’m assuming that he must have just switched off of it.

20,297 kills on my warrior. A LOT of hours in WvW. Hammer and Sword/Shield are not the greatest for tagging.

Hammer isn’t good for tagging? lolwut. My warrior has no problem getting the vast majority of kills in fights.

It’s probably something to do with playstyle. Just because a weapon cleaves, however, it is no comparison to an Ele dropping aoe. I get a lot of kills, but nowhere near the count of ranged dps classes.

Some of our highest numbers are from pure melee classes (Guardian / Warrior).

Sabull, why must you be so sexy? :3 I wonder where Mona would be if he wasn’t always playing Mesmer. Of course, Sac/Cyril/Emp are way up there.

Intigo, that isn’t the way we have it here, but that is probably based on playstyle differences and how we build. We have necros with the same playtime as our guards and warriors and they have roughly 40k while we have 20k. Just how it works out for us.

We also play defense and play for points a lot more than open field fighting like RG tends to. I must say though, we got to have some great fun with you all while you were visiting across the pond

Well you need to make enough damage. I played first months support ele and didn’t get that much loot/kills. One meteor shower didn’t usually give loot at all.

How many kills does your hammer warrior have?

Couldn’t tell you. The count is account-wide. About 40k total but most of my playtime is on engineer. I’m also borderline suicidal on my warrior and charge into everything first while swinging away, so I get taps on everything pretty much in the way. Even with full pvt gear the hammer hits hard enough for loot.

7k or so. I spend lots of time in wvw but my overall wvw stats are still somewhat low. I quess it’s because I just run around harrassing the random enemy here and there.

I don’t know how it’s possible to get as many as some of you have. Say if you play three hours a day and get 30 kills per hour, it’d still take almost 100 days to even get my 7k.

There’s a very, very big difference in the amount of kills you get when you are fully grouped and running a guild raid compared to just running with the random zerg or a smaller group. It is possible to pull in 1000 kills in an evening if the action is very high when running in a guild raid.

There’s also a pretty big difference when it comes to classes. Mesmers have a tougher time tagging as efficiently in our guild raids because they are forced into a support-role somewhat and do not have the same reliable AoE attacks as others do.

Kills / Badges are a very flawed system as people are not rewarded if they play more of a support role. People who sit for 30 minutes Trebbing a Wall get nothing in return whereas the more direct damage people with a high number of AoE attacks get a lot in return.

I wonder how many kills are needed to get that “Ultimate Dominator” title xD

I really need to lvl up all my characters to lvl 80 ASAP so I can get more kills ^^

Yea, hes right. Helm/Shoulders/Chest/Legs from TA, Gloves and Boots from T3 cultural. And Juggernaut is in my 2ndary slot, sometimes the metallic effect bugs out when I swap weapons.

How are people who run only guild groups ‘zergs’ if they’re always fighting outnumbered? Is anything more than 5 a ‘zerg’ and requires zero skill?

I don’t think you realize how much coordination is required to do really well with a tight-knit guild group.

not so good for a grenadier who plays all the time, but fc and our opponents are low population and 15 people is a zerg here in the boondocks

7k kills . I always miss the major battles most of the time due to work and real life stuffs.
