Guild Wars 2

Hello all!

I run a fairly new gaymer guild spread across many different servers and we were hoping to get into WvW together. We are planning to migrate all of our members to a single server hopefully by this weekend and have decided on Devona’s Rest as its fairly cheap and seemingly populated.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight about how active the Devona’s Rest WvW community is and whether or not it is a good idea for us to move there. Also, if this information is publicly known (on some form of leader-boards or website), I would greatly appreciate if someone could send me in that direction.

DR is great.

Friendly, organized, and fun.

DR is a great place to be for WvW. Everyone seems to know everyone for the most part and it really helps build the community that was intended for the game. Recently we’ve had a few guilds leave our server that were heavy in the WvW department. Either they left for a different game or they transferred after the season.

The guilds that remain are extremely organized and large enough to hold our own. If you transfer you will definitely be welcomed with open arms due to the few guilds who had left us and there will definitely be a place for you in our WvW community because of it.

I’m enjoying it. The only negative I see is it lacks SEA and EU coverage. NA prime is alright and I feel like we do quite well unless significantly outnumbered.

Regardless of the time zone your guild represents I think you’ll have fun and be welcomed with open arms.

The only thing that is lacking here I’d say is diversity in the WvW guilds playstyle.

only cuz ive been doing so much pve lately!!1!

I like to see BOMB around but it’s not enough. We really lack more roaming/havoc squad guilds. All we have is the same zerg type guilds eveywhere. None really standing out.

with the exception of our late night coverage its amazing. Our commanders are the best in our tier. Our TS is very friendly and you can hop into any guilds channel without angering people. Our WvW focus is amazing. Honestly I say do it your gonna love it

As a WvW player on Borlis Pass, who has fought against Devona’s Rest quite frequently in the past few months. On top of that, two guilds on DR used to be on BP, [Vox] and [BEEP], both of which are filled with friendly players who take WvW seriously and enjoy playing with other guilds.

I generally enjoy playing against DR, although BP is currently in decline so it’s pretty much just groups of 2-5 of us running into 15+ DR, but that’s nobody’s fault other than the nature of WvW at the moment (server stacking blah blah blah). All things considered though, DR seems like a great server filled with guilds of varying skill level and generally friendly people.

Well… with the exception this guy from [WZ] who harassed me for 20 minutes last night through whisper cuz he ran into my 3 man roaming group 2 times and thought he could 1v3 us… but yeah I think he was just frustrated? Idk. Outliers don’t matter though, DR gets a 9/10 in my rating system, which is not a real thing, but numbers look nice, right?

They do and thanks Godz. Enjoy the fights we get from BP as well..and HoD..and anybody else we face. Don’t always win, and that OCX coverage..yea..we could use a wee bit.. a lot more there lolol. But all the people generally like to have a good time and like to run together. Now that S3 is over, looking to compete well in Silver.
