Ok, first, let me state that this is just a silly thread that will probably grow as folks have more examples of funny ways to wipe blobs in WvW. After last night, I just had to post this here…

Ok, suggestions #1 – The Unsuspecting Ranger

Step 1: Roll a Mesmer
Step 2: Find Blob (Giant red mass on map that moves w/o much organization).
Step 3: Locate up-leveled Ranger in the middle of the blob
Step 4: Cast Feedback
Step 5: Type /point
Step 6: Type /laugh
Step 7: Watch said up-leveled Ranger wipe almost everyone.
Step 8: Rejoice with a few rounds of ale with your fellow WvW friends!
Step 9: Rinse/repeat

Ok, that’s my initial suggestion. What’s yours?

Step 1: Roll whatever you want
Step 2: join bigger blob
Step 3: collect loot

Seriously, why do oyu think it will work? have you ever heard of Retaliation? And why do you think Ranger will dmg any other than him? You mean longbow 5? Never seen it affected by feedback.

Run through the upscaled warrior and watch him crumble when you poke him gently, providing a res bot for all your zerg. I actually killed an upscaled from downed on my engi last night with no one else around, ty for the free bag.

Got to admit, using pistol 3 has never been so much fun- before the confusion bounce would be wiped by condi cleanse in the zerg, now the kill themselves.

I think my favourite so far has been:
#2: The Lure

step 1: find a small zerg
step 2: get comm to stack behind a wall or something (or just let him know the plan)
step 3: run past enemy zerg
step 4: drag the 20 that decided killing you is a much better idea than following the commander that was running to save their keep.
step 5: start jumping up and down just out their reach, goading them on (and bunching them a bit)
step 6: run them around the corner and /laugh as they get wiped (after tagging a few for some loot).
step 7: locate rest of enemy zerg and wipe the remainder now that they are half what they were.

wvw players don’t fall for this, or just say on ts ’I’ll get that one’ and one person persues if the comm can spare them.

PVE’rs chase anything that moves if they think they can 5,10 or 15 to 1 them.

Oh and my personal favourite thing to do at the moment is bait sword warriors and hammer ones by timing dodges so their skills keep missing, or just dragging off a pile of enemies in the wrong direction while our zerg attacks one of the enemy towers.

That’s awesome!

Another trick is to….

Step 1: Find blob standing on the edge of a cliff shooting at another blob.
Step 2: Stealth up behind blob on the cliff.
Step 3: Use Mesmer GS #5 (or something similar).
Step 4: Watch blob all die from falls.

1.) find competent players
2.) ask them to bring a zele, zecromancer, or mesmer with null field
3.) locate blob
4.) stand to one side side as blob charges, strip boons and aoe
5.) collect bags

You can skip bringing the mesmers if it isn’t a semi organized blob.

@Finalpatriot i think it has limit to 5 people right? So you wont be able to kill then all

I’m still giggling at the idea of the fail-ness of the rest….getting wiped by an up level rangers barrage….kitten.

Step 1: Find a clueless map blob standing together on a ruins cap point (cuz we all know maor ppl makes it go fasterz)
Step 2: Walk up calmly behind them on your Necro
Step3: Hit Signet of Spite on a central target
Step4: Epidemic them and then walk calmly away while they try to figure out what happened.

Get my Necro to eat 10 curries.Run into the middle of the blob and release Plague Wind.

Step 1: Create a time machine
Step 2: Go back to 10/15/13
Step 3: Get a small group of mesmers
Step 4: Trait for Descent into Madness
Step 5: Jump off something high onto blob at the same time
Step 6: One shot blob

“Fear Me”’d at least 8 people off that land bridge in hills once. It was a glorious moment that lasted the few seconds it took the rest of the zerg to turn around and teach my kitten a lesson.

2: Line of Warding or Shield of Absorption
3: Play pinball near cliffs
